Hello, back again with another level. The title pretty much explains the level for me, you are lost... in the the depths. It's an exploration level (I've just made up that phrase so I claim the genre as my own) where you have a limited amount of time, till the music stops to be exact, to collect as many bubbles before the level ends. It's new, simple and I had a lot of fun making it. Sadly, the detail isn't nearly what I hoped it would be thanks to good ol' thermo and my emitter fetish so even after some jigerry-pokery I just had to publish what I'd done. Not that it's bad of course, just a bit simple visual-wise here and there. So what is there apart from the exploring and all that? - Custom music, I made it myself and have no idea how good it is. I put in a lot of off-beat steps and other such things to give it a slow-sluggish feel. You get it as a prize when you finish the level. - A huge emphasis on lighting. - Heavily stylised visuals. - It really is an exploration level, though it's linear to an extent you will always have multiple paths to choose and little cubby-holes to squeeze yourself into in the hope that they're full of points. - It's relaxing. Not bad, and relaxing as you say. I appreciate being able to explore off on my own. I wish there was a little more to do and see, though. The music is kind of repetitive, but at the same time it's a welcome change from the usual fare. If you turned down the volume a bit maybe the repetitiveness wouldn't bother me.

So do I, but the level already goes above the thermo limit, I was thinking of throwing pirate ship and what have you there. I might end up just taking the emitters out completely and redo it with a lot more detail/ lighting (I really wanted to use spotlights but again, thermo) and pirate ships Also, possibly some monsters in the form of mini-angler fish. Thanks for the feedback.

Played it earlier and i liked the visuals, the atmosphere and the music and the nonlinear environment. The level itself however is kinda simple, i feel that those great visuals are a bit wasted with the basic gameplay experience provided. I feel that if you try to develop the gameplay of your level you could get something very impressive. I played this level a while ago, I really enjoyed the lighting of the level thats what made it so beautiful, I love how you made the sack look like a shadow. The bubbles that flosted up that was cool, I loved how the background color changed color over and over that was amazing . Great music btw, The only thing that got to me was that the level was a bit small, and in some points it wasl ike really dark and hard to see a little. Other than that everything was good, great level

It was more of a distraction while I worked on the big stuff (which is why I'm not really advertising it outside of this thread). If you want to see what else I'm working on btw I just put up a demo of something I think will end up great.
