Emitted Tag Sensor Glitch

I've been working on a level where you control a sackbot with a sword. When you press square, not only does the sword rotate, but his arm moves (thanks to comphermc's awesome LBP2-Torials.) When you press triangle the first time, you take out your sword (emitter) when you press it the second time, he destroys his sword. The sword is glued to one end of some holographic material, and there is a follower, sword movement logic, and my destroyer compressed into a microchip on the other end.

The problem is, my emitted tag sensor can't tell the difference between my movement tag and my destroyer tag, so every time I swing the sword, the hologram material dissolves and my sword falls to the ground. I've tried changing the color, the label, everything there is to tweak, but it still can't tell the difference between my destroy tag and my swing tag. Help?

Why are you even destroying the sword though? Wouldn't it be cooler to have the sword spin upside down (along with an animation) and "sheath" it?
If you want to keep the destroying system though, how is it that you have it set?

it's tough to say what is going on. could you post a picture of the MC? that would probably help a lot of us troubleshoot it.

I understand if you would rather wait until after you publish it, but it's very hard to say what the issue is without understanding the logic behind it. I'd wager that 90% of the people here have spent hours debugging logic that should work, only to find that some weird glitch has mucked it up. I've spent more time than I care to admit doing just that. Seeing what is happening may help isolate the problem.
