Shut Up & Drive

'K, I've got a vehicle, with three extra DCS's for three sack passengers. If the level is played with less than four, other than setting the drivers seat only to auto entry, is there any way to get them all into the vehicle automatically (purely for simplicity) and also ensure that one of them always ends up in the driving seat...?2011-03-16 03:38:00

Put the driver seat closest to the spawn point. Or disable the other seats until the driver's seat is filled.2011-03-16 04:56:00

You could probably just wire the active input from player 1's controlinator into a NOT gate, and then put that NOT gate's output into the eject inputs of the passenger seats.

Or maybe emit them once player 1's in the seat, and have them follow the vehicle...

Not sure what works or not, since I haven't used controlinators much, but I think one of those should work.

The NOT gate works great, thanks Klaww.2011-03-16 10:47:00

Also If you set your DCS to "transmitter" (There is no down-side to this, as it doesn't loose any of the old non-wireless functionality), the transmitter color decides the order of who enters which seat.

The hierarchy of seat colors is the following, going from highest to lowest:
Blue, Purple, Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green and finally Teal.

Player 1 (the host) will always enter the seat with the highest ranking color, if multiple options are available. Player two will enter the next highest ranking color and so on...

I see that you already fixed your problem, but this might also come in handy some day

That is awesome information to know. Thanks Slaeden-Bob!
