Not only is everything self made, minus a couple decorations, but every puzzle is well thought out. This level comes with a small storyline, transforming rooms, boss battles, cut scenes, and plenty of puzzles to curb your interest. It includes puzzles like the double sackboy level in Eve's Asylum, areas where the computer has to help you out and you have to help him out. But mixed in are intense sequences where you think theres no way out, but theres always a way. Try this level, and If asked, I'll F4F.

Intro video was really cool, maybe a little too long but was still cool. the cutscenes are great. and the bouncepads were fun. a little hard...but fun. The decor looks awesome. The logic puzzles were really good and well thought out. The monsters chasing was awesome part. you also put some well thought out moving walls and that really gave the level flavor. i fell through your level in the room with the Bruce and the controlinator the part where they were still separated. I tried pulling the skull out of the gears...couldnt do that and seen a path in the wall i thought that may be it but it wasnt and i fell to the floor. ANyway really nice level, but need to fix that spot where u fall.
F4F pick a level from my signature.

I was afraid of that spot. I'll fix it the next time I go on. Thanx for the feeback! You should go through again and finish it if you haven't the rest has real nice conclusions and all. I made it so you unlock part 2 when you finish 1, so you wont have to go through 1 again if you don't want to.

I'd love to do some f4f, though I think I actually already have some of those in my queue. I'll leave you a nice review on candy Land.

Oh and btw, what controlinator? I don't have any other than the area with Bif.

Nicely done. The puzzles were very creative. I felt the opening cut scene could be made more interesting by varying the camera angles more and making the dialog shorter and wittier. Really, the only thing needed is a little bit more polish.

There was something someone said about what happened to Todd that was censored.

The re-spawn platform in the go up to escape death section in the second level apparently does an auto-kill if you linger too long. I think it should push you off or drop you instead.

I don't exactly know why, but every time I use the word 'happened' the game censors the word. I really dont know why... I think I know a way I can just push you off, but I do like the auto death.
BIG REVIEW - snickelsox
This was opne of the best levels I have played on LBP in a while. THe puzles were asounding, the music was amazing, and the fun was way over 9000. Hearted, smiled, and worshiped.

Does that get you to play it? that was on part 2 of the level which is linked and unlocked when you beat part 1.

This level is absolutely spectacular. Done so well in two parts where part one ends and the second part continues on as if it is one level. There's clever dialogue, dramatic cues, perfectly executed action sequences, very refined puzzles to solve. Everyone needs to play through this guy's creation he obviously spent many, many hours on.
!!!EXCELLENT!!!

Cool, tell me what you think. I haven't had a bad rating since the first hours of my publishing it. When I had to fix the final couple glitches from being published. I think you'll all like it.2011-03-28 20:02:00

If you feel so inclined, you should tell me what you think. I've put soooo much time in to it. I also have fixed every known bug I can think of and has been reported. So far, as long as you don't have 3 players, the level plays perfect.

You know what I really hate? People who aren't very good and die in the first few trap, and then blame the level. So they give sad faces.

I've been getting reviews about how this should be an mm pick. What do you guys think? Give me an honest opinion after playing it.

Oh by the way guys! Listen to these reviews!
"Easily top ten best LBP2 level. This deserves way more attention." - cobrafang

"Awsome level. Long, challenging, and wonderfull. I can't believe you spent only 53 hours to do that O.o I'm waiting for more!" - moonwire

"AMAZING" - alabak6

And these are on the part 2, but you guys cant see them if you haven't gotten to a certain point in part 1, which immediately brings you to part 2 and gives you a key to it if you die in it to restart from the halfway point.

"should be MM pick enough said." -ney122

"One word: EPIC" -cobrafang

"This was opne of the best levels I have played on LBP in a while. THe puzles were asounding, the music was amazing, and the fun was way over 9000. Hearted, smiled, and worshiped." - snickelsox

"This is incredible! You must have spent a lot of time on this level but let me say, this should be Mm picked. The cinematics are great, the level design is stuning, the characters and the story hooked me up, the soundtrack is cool, it was challenging and, most of all, it was FUN! Major props, it definatly deserves to be hearted." - Qc_Arsoenix

And btw, if the 600 people that looked at this thread actually played it maybe we'd get somewhere. It's not like it takes too long to just click the link and queu it up.

I played this yesterday, I really enjoyed it, I could go on about what was incredible, how good a creator you are blah blah blah, but the things you're probably most interested in are the problems. I was going to review yesterday, but the site was down so my memory may be a bit hazy... I'll try my best.

Firstly a few others have also mentioned that the opening scene needs some work. Introduce dynamic camera angles, it will make a whole load of difference. Another thing is the swearing... why? I have nothing against swearing, doesn't bother me in the slightest, but what does is swearing inappropriately. What exactly does it achieve? My honest thought when the censored words first came up was that you were a young child trying to show off or something, given the setting of LBP, swearing just doesn't fit in with the game's light-hearted fun atmosphere. Unless you can explain to me why the swearing is so necessary, then I'd suggest removing it completely. Will it get Mm picked with so much censoring? That's something to consider too.

Your puzzles were well thought out and varied, excellent job there. I had a problem with the first one where you have to pull out the blocks when the water rises. I knew what I had to do, but they got stuck and I ended up drowning 3 or 4 times through no fault of my own. I considered giving up on the level there and then actually because it was frustrating when just then they eventually gave way. You mention about people getting stuck on the first puzzles, giving up then disliking the level, that's what happens, you have to deal with it. Consider this, a good level can often take over 10 minutes to complete (yours took way more) and there are over 3 million levels online, if someone gets frustrated at the start of your level, why should they waste their time carrying on?

I had a glitch with the puzzle when the guy is running along above you pressing the switches, he got stuck and wouldn't go on the switch. I don't think this is your fault though, probably a game issue. After some running and jumping about he did dislodge himself, but it happened a couple more times later.

When the other guy shoots the wall with the paint, I got majorly confused. The game implies he's going to knock the wall down with it, but he simply shoots red paint at it. Why would this knock a wall down? I waited about 20 seconds and still nothing so I figured I had to do something in my room. I couldn't find anything, then the wall eventually fell down. Dunno if it was because of my doing or not... but it was confusing and made little logical sense.

That room afterwards where you have to get the creatinator is simply ridiculous, I couldn't even attempt to get the prize bubble due to the amount of crap coming from every angle, the only reason I was able to carry on was due to the infinite respawn. I figured that is the remedy to balance the room out? There's an issue when the only way someone can pass an area is because they have infinite lives.

The part at the end when the red liquid rises is brilliant visually, but again I didn't need to do anything due to the infinite respawn. I stood in the center for the first half and survived, then a bounce pad started to lob me off the platform but still, with the infinite respawn, there was no incentive to attempt it as it didn't matter if I died.

I'm sure there were other little bits, but I can't remember off the top of my head.

I'll tell you story of how I came to play your level. I actually spotted it on another forum and recognized the title, so I clicked it. You came across as quite cocky as I believe you had quoted a load of reviews people had left. I thought I'd check it out, to see if the level really was this good. Anyway, the reason I recognized the name was because I'd seen it on here but I'd shown no interest. Where's your advertising? In your first post you've simply placed the LBP.me description and nothing else. You're not selling your level, and I don't mean list a bunch of reviews, tell us about some of the puzzles (if you'd have mentioned you've a puzzle similar to the Eve's Asylum multiplayer level where you control the two people simultaneously... I'd have played it in a shot), tell us why we should play the level etc. And most of all, screenshots! I shouldn't have to queue the level before I can even get an idea of how it looks, your visuals are brilliant, so show them off.

Most importantly, I think is your attitude. While you may think it's the best level ever, you made it, so of course you will. You can't expect people to think the same, while 600 odd people have looked this thread, what incentive have they got to play the level? Also, like I mentioned above if someone gets stuck on the level they'll rate it badly and go on to the next level. There're over 3 million, it's not like there's a shortage, players aren't going to invest time into your level just because you think it's good. I don't understand these level that make it too hard to complete, I don't think the majority of players are looking for a major challenge, they're looking for something fun to play, so by making it hard you're turning away a lot of players instantly. While you might find it fun being a challenge, you again made the challenge - it's going to seem more enjoyable than it actually is. Plus you'll also find it easier as you know exactly what to do, while you only need a few seconds to react, other players need far longer as they're not anticipating what is about to happen. Also, I don't know this but are you giving feedback on other people's levels? You can't expect feedback if you don't give it yourself. Play others' levels that have F4F in the topic title, none of these replies seem to be from those of levels you've given feedback on, so that's an excellent place to start.

Anyway, I'll end there. I can sense you seem to be frustrated that this level you've put so much time into isn't getting the recognition it should be. There are many others in the same boat, and while I think your level is brilliant, there are glaring flaws that are holding it back. Please don't take this to heart, I've tried to give my opinion on why this is occuring, the main 3 tips I'd give is remove the swearing, flesh out your advertising (screenshots!) and give feedback on other people's levels. I hope it does work out for you.

Oh another thing, I think I remember your writing having spelling errors and grammatical mistakes? Hazy memory, may not have been your level...

Thanks a lot for the review. At first I was thinking that you were just one more person going down on my level cause you lost too quick, but I see you put a lot of time and thought in to this. First off, technically the swaring is not sencored, I made the symbols that way. I'll get rid of some, Bruce did go on a bit much. And I notice a lot of people talk about different camera angles in the starting scene, so I'll fix up that too.

And when I first began making the level, the part where Todd runs through the top helping you was always super glitchy. But the thing is, I worked all the glitches I knew of out. I had so many people test in and try it out that I never found anything else. But with 200 more, apparently there are more, and I'll have to find a way around it. That'll take some more time. I'll also change the brick part a little bit to make it smoother. Again I thought it was fine, but I did make the level so I would be a little deaf to the whole thing. I'll take your advice and add some screens and info to the top. And only like 2 people talked about my spelling errors, you being one, but the other guy wouldn't tell me where they were and I couldn't find them. I'll send you a PM when I finally get this all perfect and I want to know if you like any of the changes when I'm done. Thanx again.

Yeah I guessed you'd put the censoring in yourself (I haven't seen how Mm censor things, do they do the same?). You don't have to get rid of all the swearing, in fact if it suits his character it's fine to have one or two words like that, but I mean one or two for the whole level. It was so frequent it detracted from the dialogue itself and became the focal point.

I honestly think the glitches are probably a programming thing and it'll be difficult for you to fix yourself. I managed to leviate the glitch quite simply, so I think others who have any basic knowledge of how LBP works will be able to do the same.

Regarding the bricks I think you just need to make them have zero friction. I worked out what I had to do almost instantly, and I really enjoyed the dramatic effect the water level rising had, made it seem more pressurising than it was! But then I was killed because they got stuck, something out of my control - so in effect I died for doing the right thing lol.

I'll check out your level again later on and see if I can spot the spelling errors, like I say I think it was your level that had them, and given most of the dialogue is at the beginning it won't take me too long. It's not a major issue but it does make it less professional. Your level is excellent it just needs the bells and whistles.

I did the update last night. I put an easy escape tunnel in during the underwater todd parts that you can use at any time if the game proves too hard or breaks. I also did change the swaring, but kept a select couple. I think one in both parts.

The bricks were at zero friction, and it use to be a lot harder to get through the wall, but I think I fixed that again last night by just taking a few bricks out. try pushing them also if you haven't. The second the waters on the bricks, and the first row is gone, pushing through is immediate. And it looks cool.

Just watch out where you say theres spelling errors, cause it's probably just that character in their personality acting that way.

Try playing through it again and tell me what you think of all the new updates. I put another 2 hours in to making them and I really can't even add another pinwheel to the level. The only glitches now are the ones I cant fix. Like the fur decoration appearing at random times in my level at random sizes. Thats the strangest one. I think It's on the starying sign now. I can't even see it in create mode. Games insane.

I fixed a couple spelling errors and I slightly fixed or changed what I did the other night. Makes everything bit more fluent.

I've also begun starting on a bigger update to shorten and better the lava chamber. Should be up tonight.

I've updated the level again, shortening the lava chamber and adding a little variety along with fixing the problem of people not doing anything on that part. This is a big update. On top of the original 53 hours put in to the level, I've put an additional 5 just on updates.2011-04-12 19:42:00

Hey guess what! I've decided to refine my movie making skills and continue the story for the Mayan temple. I kind of left it without a true ending, or a way to continue, but I've already wrote the script for the movie that will basically hype you all up for the next episodes. And if you thought this got intense at times, wait till you see what I've got next. I'll publish it in the summer. The final chapters I mean. The movie I hope to get up and done in less than a month because I also want to take in part with the competition on this site. Great thing to enter in btw people. Free crown for the winner! Lots of fun! Just look on any main page of the site to find links.

So I kind of got side tracked with school, and building a computer and whatnot, but I do still plan on doing this eventually. Maybe if a bunch of people are all like "Woo Mayan Temple for the win!!! lololol" Then Maybe I'll put a rush on it.

Yeah I'm pretty slow huh.
