Logic - Movable target for shooting

Archive: 5 posts

Hello all,

I'm looking to make something similiar to the movable target (much like the camel shooting story level). I checked my objects and don't see the camel there.

I want the player to sit in and ride, while trying to shoot objects. I was going to use stickers - but they make that annoying sound everytime they move over something - I know, I could reduce my "SFX" sounds, but then none of my other sound effects would be heard with out jumping through hoops every time.

So, anyone done this and knows of basic logic set up that might work?

Thanks to anyone who can help or guess.

Stickers are so LBP1.

What are you having trouble with? Making a moveable cursor is pretty simple. Put a controllinator on the cursor and connect the left stick to an advanced mover.

There's some good tutorials for stuff like this on YouTube.

The cursor is simple, just hook your control stick to an advanced mover on the object.

You'll need some way of keeping your cursor inside an invisible boundary. That involves holograms with keys set to turn off the mover.

Sorry Mods - had meant to post this in the Help section to begin with - not sure how I posted it in the other section.

Anyway, yeah, you guys are right - stickers are a bit outdated. Thanks for the info - problem solved.

You guys are awesome.

Depends on how you use them, I suppose

I've been exerimenting with using them as icons for players to use in an in-game Level Editor, and I'm getting a really positive response.
