I don't know, I just feel it should have had more worlds like the original. It took me a very short time to finish it so I'm just wondering if anyone else is thinking like me. KTHXBAI lol

I noticed that it felt shorter than LBP's story. That's because there are less areas, but each area has more levels than in LBP. I guess it adds depth to each area.

It did feel a bit short. After a while the levels started to bore me.

Let's compare both games' storylines, shall we? LBP2's story mode had 6 worlds, and each world had 5 main levels (not including sub-levels that are accessed by level links), making for a grand total of 30 main levels. (Note that I'm not including movies or side levels, such as those levels that require keys to unlock, here.) By comparison, LBP1's story mode had 8 worlds, but each world had only 3 main levels (though the final world had an extra main level), making for a grand total of 25 levels. Therefore, I thought that LBP2's story mode was a bit longer in terms of main levels, even though there are fewer worlds.

I did think it was rather short. It took a few months for me to finish the first one, a few weeks for the sequel. I guess it's because this one is a lot smoother to go through.

Well because when I got it I was overly-obsessed and stayed up until 4:00AM to finish each level... so it took less than a day for me... It only seems shorter because you can play all the levels rapidly and because it is a whole lot more engaging you won't get bored easily nor want to put the controller down.

Possibly it feels shorter because those who played LBP1 are used to the gameplay, controls, and all the other stuff none of us knew anything about when LBP1 first arrived. I can think of plenty of games which took me ages, but the sequels took less time because I already knew a lot of what to do.
