Space Goo Pt. 2

Archive: 2 posts

Hey guys, new to the board. Im trying to make a "game". Trouble is i finished what turned out to the be second level first. I have levels 1 and 3 near completed but they are going to take some time.

If anyone gets a chance please check out my Space Goo Pt. 2 level and leave me some suggestions or reccomendations. I just need to know if its worth continuing on or if i should scratch the whole idea and start over.

The 1st part is mainly intro so you will be lost "story wise" when you jump in the level. Its supposed to be a Alien being is taking over this station (never heard of that before!) and you have a "voice of survival type guy" helping you, trouble is he's an idiot. Pt. 2 is my platforming section and will be followed by an on rails shooter (pt 3) if all goes well.
Thanks to all who check it out.
PS. Be gentle, it looks like the pro's hang on this board.

A lot of pros do hang out here but I'm not one of them

First of all, your description is in all caps. I'd change that if I were you.

In the level itself I wasn't able to get past the first room. I pulled the lever and heard the dialogue eventually telling me to turn off anti-gravity. How do I do it? Repeat pullings of the level make me sit through the whole dialogue again including the pauses for speech, except without the speech. That got tedious and is the reason I gave up.

I don't know much about what the story will be, but from the little I heard it sounds like it could be intriguing.
