Its all about your grappling skills and your ability to keep your momentum throughout the level! To make this challenge a little bit more daring, Me and C_McKamey also added a little extra bonus.. Level modes: Normal Mode: * This mode will be one player only. * Each grab will give you additional score and the further you proceed, the higher the score will be. * Each new section of the level will have an infinite checkpoint and a bouncepad to gain momentum. * Even though there are infinite life checkpoints, you will only have 6 lifes per section, this is done so we can warp you to the scoreboard to submit your score. Practice Mode: * Here you can practice and hone your grapple and momentum skills. * If you enter the level with more than 1 player, this is the only mode available. * up to three players can spectate the player practicing the level (Level is unfinishable with more than one player) * You wont get any scoring opportunities in this mode. Challenge Information and rules. * The top scorer after two weeks will recieve a 20,- Euro/Dollar/Pound PSN voucher depending on where the person lives. * If a member of LBPC wins, I will also grand than person 5000 experience points. * The winner will also have his picture portrayed in the level as the "Master of Momentum" * This contest will end on March the 25th on 23:59 (11:59 p.m.) * *I am doing my best to get my hands on an AUS/UK/Japanese PSN Voucher as I dont want anybody to feel left out! Wow, that was annoying. :/ Obviously this level is for skilled grapple hookers (lol) and not for players like me. The funny thing is that the standard mode has point bubble guides, yet the practice mode has nothing to suggest optimal paths to the player. Some suggestions to avoid down rates: - Player should spawn on the holo arrow ridge near the bounce pad. Switching layers then running backwards gets tiresome after so many deaths. - Put spikes on all the ledges (in practice mode). The player can't gain any points (plus can't get up without momentum, I assume) and it would be faster to run into spikes than self popping/running back to the bounce pad. - Display all tips from checkpoint. Not that they helped me, but still. - Have a strip of holo show the optimum line of travel (in practice mode), like how the score bubbles do in regular mode. - Perhaps an option to skip the current section. God help the casual player if that first obstacle is the easy one. I didn't even reach the second checkpoint/area. It's not worth thinking about how many attempts it took me just to get up to the last sponge. Maybe I just really really suck at using the grapple. Looking forward to reading how other players handle the difficulty.

Played it exactly 100 times now, I'm currently 4th with 77,104 Points. Gonna go another 100 see if I can get at least 80,000 Points (If Possible).

Played this today, I thought it was amazing! It was a tad short and a bit repetitive, but I understand it what it was made for. The gameplay was very addictive for what it was, and I played it many times over, but never managed to come even close to the hi-score. I have to say I loved reading all the subtitles at the bottom, and laughed out loud when it said "Protip: Avoid spikes". I look forward to what you and c_mckamey come out with next!

At the moment palatch is on first place with a whopping 79,630 points, probably between 50 and 150 points off the max. score. This gave me a learning moment, and if I do hold any future contests, Im sure to add in racegates, even if clay says no However Im holding true to my word, and if nobody is able to beat his score (I challenge thee!) he will get the 20,- psn voucher. since this contest will end in 10 days, I hope there are still people who think they can beat this score. I hope there are still people who think they can beat this score. Oh don't worry, I've been practicing, I SHALL get that 20 dollars! But come to think of it.. In the time I've been playing this level trying to get that number 1 spot, I probably could of found some form of job that would of payed me more than that. But then again, I am lazy. Edit: Best so far: Aced with Score of 78,610 Soon as I get home, I'll give it another 100 attempts.

OMG Luos!!! your level is very very awesome and difficult but i liked so much, is a good way to make it extremely challenging, is very well thought out and made ​​every obstacle is insurmountable but i think it is a gradual way to give an excellent game, no doubt, has been one of the best levels i've played this weekend. chimp and shamgar blade will work together and hopefully make a hd-ace-run of the level on that note, play steam team if you want something else, best puzzle/platformer ive seen in lbp2 so far! (just to break up the endless retries of this level )

EDIT: I wanted to say that 80k + are possible... I had 70k at the second last sponge and i know that you get 10k at the last sponge... but my cotroller turned off and I died, I could rage so hard. D:<

Palatch can call himself the True Master of Momentum, he still holds the highscore and I will be ordering his PSN voucher today (which is in german, and ich spreche keine deutch) but I will manage I send palatch all the information he needs and he will hopefully have his 20 euro deposit before the end of next week.
