Help with movers

I have been fighting with this issue now for a couple weeks. All I am trying to do is make an object move in a rectangle but stay in the same spot as if to cling to a suspended platform. Eventually i want to make a creature out of it that walks around the platform. But for my basic experiment it seems that no matter what I do or how slow I make the movement momentum knocks the object out of the area I want it to move in.

This is the initial circuit I started with for my experiment and the object starts drifting either too much up or down after about the 3rd cycle.http://s3.amazonaws.com/satisfaction-production/s3_images/428842/Circuit._inline.jpg

I tried slowing it down and activating dampened anti-gravity tweakers as well as timers after the individual movements to try to keep it from deviating but to no avail. I tried using material tweakers to adjust friction, changing the acceleration, as well as changing to lighter materials or to pink floaty.

Help!!!

Followers are the way to go here. Just make a tag activate every so seconds or another activates when the creature gets to the tag.2011-03-11 04:58:00

Thefollower tag idea is pretty much fool proof. I set a back and forth item up with a couple tags and a switch that changes direction every time it hits the tag. I think the follower would keep it more acurate over time though.2011-03-11 06:11:00
