quick idea

Archive: 13 posts

Alright i'm not sure if anyone has said this. I thought of a cool idea that i want to know what you guys think about it. What if the PSN had a return thing or a sell back system. Because there's certain games that i wish i hadn't bought and i wish i could sell my game back and get the money again so i could think about buying something else. What do you guys think about that?2008-11-25 23:24:00

Well think of it like this. You can't return things that you've already used, unless you bought it broken. But the game isn't broken, you just don't like it. I'm not sure if that's even possible, because it's on your download list, and there's data on your hard drive and stuff.

What did you buy that you don't like?

Uh... the problem with that lies in the fact that people could buy games, then sell them back when they're done with them :/2008-11-26 00:53:00

You can an only add cash in in $5/$10/$20/$50 I think.

And no, bad idea.. Sony would make NO profit from them

That's why I almost never buy DLC, a potential mix of buyer's remorse and also no re-sell value, unlike a disk.

Rock Band Downloads obviously being the exception!

It'd be great for gamers, but it's completely unrealistic. I'd just suggest you do plenty of research before dropping large quantities of money on anything. This was you at least give yourself the best chance at being happy with your purchases. And perhaps learn to stop joking around when it comes to buying games.

On a related note, I strongly suggest PixelJunk Monsters, but did you see that Eden is on sale this week? If you haven't given it a shot grab the demo, but I'd recommend it for the price; it's a lot of fun and should be plenty long for you as well.

what if it was like a 10 day return period. Also though in that ten days you can not have beaten the game or gameshared it. That then avoids the i beat it let me sell it neigh sayers and well as giving me a chance for PJM2008-11-26 14:13:00

How about a ten minute policy? If you bought it in error you should realize it soon enough and be willing to "return" it within that window. Likewise, if you just want to give the game a spin that should be long enough to determine if you like it or not. Wait, isn't that the point of demos?

yes that's true but i never meant to buy it which makes me mad. I've been playing the demo for PJM i think i might buy that and eden and then get killed by my parents for using my debit card. Still a return policy would really help me right now.2008-11-26 16:18:00

Yeah, I never play Warhawk anymore. But hey, my mistake, I'll deal with it. It's just there in the rare event I feel like hopping on it.

On a side note, Tekken rules.
