Instrument changing in the music sequencer

| Ok, so I spent quite some time putting all the notes on an instrument in the sequencer and then I decided I wanted to know what it would sound like using a different instrument. Is there a way to change the instrument but keep the notes, without having to write the whole thing again? I ask because I wrote something in piano, but I want to see how it would sound using a harpsichord.
