Ok sorry guys to be posting a thread about this topic again, buuut i have looked at the other threads and im still at a loss ![]() I'd like someone to guide me through creating the double jump for a sakbotinator. i'd like a simple double jump aaaaand one that allows for wall jumping Ong-Bak style. Logic is by no means my strong point so i need it all explained to me like im a simple simon ![]() Pics would help if ya have them or even better a link to a level i can go to and see the mechanics for myself. Thing is i pic things up straight away if i see them then i have a better understanding. Any and all help would be mucho appreciado on this one as im 'bout at breaking point on this one and its holding me up... LOL Cheers guys. | 2011-03-10 12:44:00 Author: ghostdogg ![]() Posts: 32 |
I'm certainly no logic expert, but it seems to me that there are always multiple ways to do anything with LBP2 logic. Check Youtube for video tutorials on this. Here's one I just found by typing in Sackboy double jump.... easy peasy. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8orvjzT_h0 | 2011-03-10 19:34:00 Author: Rustbukkit ![]() Posts: 1737 |
It's really simple: 1. Use a counter and make it activate in 2 counts 2. Hook up X to the counter 3. Take out a Mover and set the UP/Down speed to 5.0 to 10.0 depending on how far you want it to jump. All the other values should be zero btw. 4. Use a timer and set it to activate in 0.2 seconds. Set timer to "count down" (The filled in hour glass). Wire the counter to the timer and the timer to the Mover. 5. Use an impact switch to reset the counter. 6. Enjoy! You can put this all in the sackbots' circuit board. | 2011-03-11 00:06:00 Author: comishguy67 ![]() Posts: 849 |
