See? It's actually somewhat good! It's also pretty challangeing, only for skilllled players. I would appriciate if someone could tell me what part of the level that is so challangeing though, because I think most of it is kinda simple. (there's one hard part that relays on timing, but that is optional, so meh)

This level was a blast to play through the first time, the second time, the third time . . . maybe I should look over there. . . oooh, a race, let's play that for a while. . . wait I know I can be that time. . . I wonder what is up there . . .

This level is full of wild set pieces, a bucketful of challenges, hidden sections, a race and some inventive and wild set design. I've been able to find seven of the nine pages and I'm sure that with a bit more poking in a certain area I can uncover another one but finding the pages is a great objective all in itself. The deviousness of some of the hiding spots reminds me of the secret hunting gameplay in ThommyTheThird's Hard Simplicity.

There are some very challenge and innovative platforming sequences that can get you pulling out your hair. You will need some spot on timing to cleanly get from start to finish but you don't penalize the player with limited checkpoints which is a great thing. I'd never spend as much time looking for hidden areas if I only had a handful of lives.

The race event gives the level a whole new challenge and gives a great incentive for those who want to or like competing on the scoreboards.

I did notice a few things in the level that didn't work right. I was able to fall out of the level in one spot and blast my way out in another. In the beginning where the jumping rabbit segment is you are able to, intentionally get onto the rear layer. Instead of heading the way you intend the player you can instead run to the right, up past the groups of bubbles in the passageway to the next section and slip down through a crack to the floor.

Another problem is when you get the creatinator with the bombs there is nothing stopping the player from running to the left back through the previous section. You can throw bombs and blow up a good bit of the back layer in the process. Heading back to the previous checkpoint, with the piled up boxes, I could blow up the back layer, jump back into the hole and slowly blow the bottom of the hole further down until I fell through. (I was sure you were hiding something down there. )

Maybe a power up remover in the transition between the two areas?

The bomb jump is tricky and the bounding rabbit section before the bomb section can be frustrating for those who don't take the time to learn the pattern or time their jumps. The fiery clamp, rabbit eating a carrot section can also be maddening for unskilled players, the initial platform jumping section could be impossible for those without good timing and platforming skills.

Basically this level doesn't pander to the lowest common denominator, gives a wide range of obstacles to pass, gives a little of many gameplay styles to the player and looks great from start to finish. This is a bizarre bit of chaos from an off-kilter point of view but I'll be back tomorrow night to try for those last two pages.

Cheers.

I don't see any monkeys, but I'll play it anyway.
I enjoyed your last level, so I hope this doesn't disappoint!

*Masterfull feedback*

I think that was the best feedback I have ever recieved, EVER.

Thanks a whole bunch for the kind words! I will be fixing those bugs next time I'm online (hopefully today paha). I just knew people would be breaking the level because of the secrets. The best way to break a level is to make players search every corner of it paha.

But yeah! I'm going to go ahead and add a couple of signs explaining some of the trickier parts too so that player's won't be all confused and sad. Although to be honest the level is not really designed for unskilled players. I make levels for the core community, not the 9 year olds playing the game.

Again a huge thanks for the feedback, if you need any feedback on something, let me know. I would love to return the favour

This level is totally mad but brilliant - I loved it and tore out my hair at the same time.

It has colourful, wacky and engaging visuals and some great characters but the gameplay is the outstanding feature. The challenges come thick and fast - platforming, puzzles and secret hunting of intense deviousness - you're kept on your toes for every second. I've played twice so far and have managed to get 7 of the 9 homework pages but I'm determined to find the last 2, if I can. See what sound educational principles your level is promoting. Yep, go through hell and back to ensure your homework is handed in on time!

Trindall has pointed out all the places that players might find tricky but I think the challenge is a great part of the level's charm. Some parts do require effort to get past but then the sense of achievement is all the greater.

So, yes, it's insane but in a quite glorious and intensely creative way. A must play. Oh, and PESKIEST. RABBITS. EVAR!

edit: Just no. 3 left to find now...arrgghh

Good level. Definitely better than your last (and that was pretty good).
I still have 1 more page to find! D:<
You can escape the level during the "bunnies help throw you up" bit. A part of the floor isn't hazardous.
Some great gameplay in here too.
Will post more feedback when attempting my race/A+ attempt!

What's with the visible purple tag switch in the 4th image btw?

Thanks people, I am really happy you liked it and came to enjoy the crazyness rather then meh-ing it.

The tag on piccy four..yeah..I'll be fixing that soon enough xD I always leave a tag or two by mistake paha. Although IMO me and creator's last level were better then this. The crazy cutscenes and the weird scenery provides a fun, long and generally more serious level that is fun to play. Although I agree that the gameplay in this could be considered better as I have all of LBP2's awesome tools at my hand this time.

But mehu! Thanks for the kind words once again. If you need feedback on anything, let me know!

That name is just... indescribable...

But I will get on playing this! I saw the title and wasn't planning on clicking on the thread, but as soon as I saw the name of the creator I couldn't wait to see what it held, I'll play it as soon as I get on my PS3!
