Now, I know that Mm just implemented a new sticker cut tool in LBP2 and it's great, problem is that it doesn't cut the sticker, it only cuts the material it's on. My suggestion is to have an actual sticker cutter that cuts your sticker in the exact way you want it. I think, maybe, offering a few basic shape "cookie cutter" templates would be an awesome idea to go along with this. Basically, sometimes when you make your own stickers, you'd like them to be a certain shape, not a rectangle! And sometimes you want your sticker to be a particular shape to stick it to a surface without having to try and colour match the entire area. Please leave your thoughts.

yeah being able to make are own Sticker in the shape we want would be nice. but unlikely as MM likes to be cheap and make money off of their so called better MM Stickers (>.>) *mew

Yeah, I was briefly excited by the new sticker cutting tool until I realized it doesn't do what it's name implies. Being someone that does not (and will likely never) own a PSEye (because let's face it... the video/audio quality sucks), I have no way of making any stickers of my own that aren't a 16:9 square. IMO the lack of a sticker cutter completely undermines the usefulness of the sticker sensor.

Maybe a tool that allows you to select one or more objects within an area that you select with the tool, like say, your sackperson, a friends and an object you're standing on, and take a pictur with just those objects showing up, everything else is make invisible, the sticker will still be 16:9, but only the stuff you want will show up, anything behind it won't.

Now that's an idea. See, I would be happy if the blank background showed up invisible. I just find that they included 2 of the same tool. There's the sticker cutter in the tools bag and then they have another one in the sticker bag, where you just select a sticker and then it creates your object with the sticker on it already trimmed. What's the point in that?

A possibility would be a "smart screenshot tool", where you select your area and take it. Then it pauses the game and you can select which elements are visible and which aren't. (like specific stickers, objects and sackbots). This tool would be exclusive to create mode and would put the screen in front view automatically.

Let's do some shameless self-advert, this idea is already on GetSatisfaction (http://getsatisfaction.com/littlebigplanet/topics/idea_to_cut_stickers_to_your_delight_like_story_mo de_items#reply_4684179), with a theory of my humble self on how to make it coherent, but the sticker-cutting idea does not seem to get some love. So I'll just post this here again. MM can introduce a special "Cut-able photo" tool. Working like the regular photo camera tool, this one could create in-game photos in create mode. These pictures, unlike regular photos, may be cut-able to create our own stickers. And if you take a photo of some DLC sticker, even just a part of it, the information would be integrated to the picture, so if you cut the photo, capture it with some "custom sticker capture tool" and share it, everyone wanting to use your own sticker will need the required DLC. This, plus the fact that the custom sticker may not get such quality as an official one, may prevent people from using such tool to share DLC.

What's the point in that? It's not the same tool. It's actually really handy if you know what sticker you want to use, but don't have the material made yet. I've used it a couple times, though I don't use stickers much. Don't knock it till you try it!

Prehaps a new utility material that you place as a background, and the background material would not be visible in photos? That would let you take photos without a background, rather than have all these complicated area selctor tools
