One sound cuts off another...

So I've got this player-controlled Sackbot in my level that has a few abilities. When you use them they have sound effects.

So in my level I have the sound of a waterfall in the background. Positional Sound is set to False, so I can hear it everywhere. But the second I use one of my special abilities, the waterfall sound cuts out. It'll come back on in a few seconds sometimes, or not at all.

It's really weird. I'm wondering if I have too many sounds going at once? On some of my abilities I'm emitting something and up to 3 sound effects are playing at once. Is this a case of too many sounds happening, so it can't play them all? The thermo is almost full as well. Maybe that's also a factor?

Thermo I doubt it has to do with this, so yeah the sounds do cut off if theres to much going on, same thing happened to me in a level, and this also creates a bad lag which is annoying, but its just like all the other games out there, sound effect, the loudest/higher ones will overlap the other, its always been this way in everygame,

Look at donkey kong for example.

However...try setting them to just be heard at one point instead of heard throughout the whole level, work with them and it might work, not perfect but it will work better. You just have to sync them in a way that they wont overlap, so its kinda tricky to make them work right but good luck, hope that helps
