i dont really think so to be honest because MM has now made them self a family company so people would expect them, to makes somethink like FPS, there is too many FPS for them to compete with, so they have a better chance with a thrid person shooter online, or maybe a game simular to LBP another game foucusing on edit mode, that would be intrested to see if they make a Thrid person shooter where they make a story, then they teach you to make your own maps and storys, it possible, my bets are on a game that will focus on editing levels, so maybe a LBP 3D

I'd say their next game will be lbp for psp.After that, lbp for ps4 or whatever. A game like lbp requires a bit more of a commitment than the average game, much like rock band.

well hold on. Mm said they were going to have 3 games with sony that wernt lbp So a new lbp is out of the question. Besides on psp.

maybe somthing called "littlebigplanet stories" this game would be focused on a bigger story mode that has a better dialouge and story and is just story. it would be on ps3. and would probaly include cutscenes and stuff

maybe somthing called "littlebigplanet stories" this game would be focused on a bigger story mode that has a better dialouge and story and is just story. it would be on ps3. and would probaly include cutscenes and stuff Personally, I would rather have that be an expansion to LBP. You know, another story mode could easilly be a downloadable feature...? And, uh, yeah >_<. I would hope they continue working on LBP first, though.

They made Rag Doll Kung Fu before LittleBigPlanet. but they never finished it. The game never came out, so it should qualify, right?

I googled MM and Sony and found article [no link, old anyway] saying MM signed a deal with Sony for 3 new games based on 3 different IPs. Sooo who knows. Hopefully something fun.

As said the next step for Mm is a PSP version, maybe afterward's a PC Port? They wouldn't be able to do anythingelse, they've effectively "married" themselves to the LBP franchise. Its like Lego going and making a new Power-Rangers style toy, it simply wouldnt work when someone could as easily make it with the tools provided. A sequel would have to have a lot of new features to make people buy it too. The best they can do really is innovative DLC at the moment.

they proved they can make a colourful and fun game, they now have to prove they can make a serious game a fps or tps, they cant do another game like lbp, cause they will idolise them self as being a kiddy game deve like the wii has. but i hope they keep some form of level editor in the game

I just know that that whatever Media Molecule's next game is, it's not going to be a conventional genre. They're pretty much built around the idea of making games that are very much new, innovative, and very unique, even if some draws on more conventional styles for their core. For example, Rag Doll Kung-Fu, which isn't nominally MM, but it's by the same guys, before being a company. It's essentially a beat-em-up/fighting game. But it's wholly unlike any other fighter out there. LittleBigPlanet itself is a platformer, front and center. But it's so unique in the way it does everything, as well as the previously-unfathomable creation tools, that it's not something you'd find just out there in the platformer genre. Also, they tend to be very E-for-everyone in their approach. Which means I doubt they'll be opening a shooter IP. But who knows, they may do the same thing Insomniac did, where they have the family Ratchet and Clank series, and then the very much M-rated Resistance. *Shrugs.* I'm sure they'll surprise us, whatever way they do it.

that true what you said, but i bet there next game will have some sort of creat your own level thing to it, i wounldnt be subprise if they realse a shooter that teaches you how to make a good map, or be able to make your own story.

Probably a game that is the next step up from LBP. You still have a story mods but each player creates their own story and other players play them. you can still do single levels though. The story mode might be longer and some levels are 'Creatable' maening yu will have to build a set of stairs to get up somewhere or attach a switch to a piston to open a door or something. Sorry for typos, can't be bothered to correct
