Holo set to player color is not setting to player color

For the life of me, I can't get some holo bits to illuminate with player colors on my remote controllinator-controlled vehicle.

Anyone have any suggestions for troubleshooting this?

Have you tried following the chain from the sensor that's supposed to imbue player colour, then at every step of the way connecting a bit of holo until you get to the point where it loses the dye?

I think that most if not all logic gates will only transmit the colour property of the 'top' inbound signal (when pointing right) btw.

Hmm, I guess I need to be more specific.

I'm trying to design a player-colored health bar using a series of holo and a sequencer with laddered batteries turning on or off the successive chunks of holo. The sequencer is placed on my remote controllinator inside a microchip.

Perhaps its the batteries that are causing the problem? Any way to circumvent this (maybe with an AND gate combining the active controllinator signal and a battery?)

That should work; there's a thread somewhere in the forums that explains the gates' behaviour toward player's signals

Yup, ANDing any player data carrying signal (such as the controllinator's ON output) will do it. Make sure you hook the player data to the top input of the AND.2011-03-08 16:03:00
