Starfox / Sackfox - Single player V1.0
Archive: 17 posts
Hi there ! I'm new here at Little big Planet Central (thanks to a good friend) Also I'm from Germany, sorry for my bad english than I just wanna celebrate this with the upload of my first LBP2 projekt Starfox / Sackfox - Single player Its a fanmade version of the Starfox game, but had to keep it as a side scroller. This also have nothing to do with any original character and/or Story of Starfox. I do not own Starfox and its copyrighted by Nintendo!!! Corneria is in trouble! A very strong new enemy appears and just wants to destroy Corneria forever. Its the strongest defence of the Lylat system so the enemy would rule the whole Lylat system without Corneria. Now its up to you to stop this evil force and bring back peace to the Lylat system. It was really a lot of work doing this because there were so many new stuff and tools to play around with... I know there ar still some bugs and I'll try to work on it but I also would be really happy about some feedback about bugs and the whole Level. Sadly I can't record any gameplay Video or such but at least I can show some pictures http://i0.lbp.me/img/ft/a20289068fee5e487e37b9cf8ddfd6adf7cba472.jpg http://i9.lbp.me/img/ft/b39aa10bb7dcf0fde9569f2d1b472489c00a1bb9.jpg http://i1.lbp.me/img/ft/9f13171bb3d3fa0b8188da5a8ee307bbfa89d907.jpg http://id.lbp.me/img/ft/52d7c97c6ce208f9c86ff791a06feeea66aff902.jpg I hope its fun to play Maybe I add new Levels sometimes. That kinda depends on how much people will like this Level. Ooooook Thats all for now. Would be nice if you give it a try and I will exploring this cool website now ! UPDATE: Fixed charge laser bug, also the Arwing shape changed a bit. Have fun! <3 http://lbp.me/v/ypnctn | 2011-03-08 03:21:00 Author: Unknown User |

Awsome!!! Wonderful menu, great gameplay, epic boss battle nothing to complain about i really enjoyed playing it! Got a little request though: Could you please add the corneria theme if it's possible? That would be fantastic! Keep it up! And try my level (Madera, see sig) if you like cheers | 2011-03-08 18:39:00 Author: DragonHunterEx Posts: 84 |
Ok here it goes Like in game comment i said here the same: MM wake up and start Pick up this level This was a great experience.. ive played Star Fox on Super Nintendo and it was one of the Greatest Levels ever. You did an awsome job recreating it.. The use and abuse of Holograms its an Art.. u did it so nicely that i loved this level. I hope see soon another level becouse this was Amazing. Great Job ( 9/ 10 ) | 2011-03-08 19:00:00 Author: PTdragon Posts: 176 |
Was fun! I especially liked the fact that there are achievements - I love me some achievements. Couple of suggestions - You'll want to rework the sparkle effects, at least on the player's lasers - they slowed the game down so much I could constantly fire charge shots, which then locked on to enemies and never dissipated, making the enemies invincible. A sticker on a hologram would probably serve you better than several holo bits (for that and for some of the explosions as well) My Arwing felt... fat. Arwings as I remember them are very flat and sleek from a profile view. Maybe squish down the the blue fins and the wings to about 2/3 their current size? The charge shots didn't feel any more powerful than regular shots... I just kept using regular shots and it was much more effective. The boss... was long. >..< My finger got tired. But it worked! | 2011-03-09 07:14:00 Author: Loius Posts: 342 |
@DragonHunterEx Hey, thank you Yeah I so wanted to add the corneria theme but I'm just so bad with the music sequenzer :/ Maybe an update if I should learn to handle it Oh and I will try out your Level if I'm at home again | 2011-03-09 08:58:00 Author: Unknown User |
MM wake up and start Pick up this level Heh that would be cool, but its still far away from the quality for a MM pick I guess. Glad you had fun with it Thank you Will try out your levels when I'm at home again | 2011-03-09 09:06:00 Author: Unknown User |
No its isnt U did a Great Job with Logic. The level is well polished, very well recreated. I saw levels wrost than your getting MM Pick.. idk how they choose the levels. For almost 1 weeks theres nothing new on MM Picks and there is something like 3-4 Awsome. Fantastic levels Posted in this forum that need they attenttion. | 2011-03-09 12:24:00 Author: PTdragon Posts: 176 |

Hey, thanks for the review Yeah I already noticed the bug with the charged laser and I still searching a way to avoid it. If you hit the button too fast the controlinator is just thinking you keep pressing the button... also the charge laser is really not anymore powerfull. I have to change a lot of things for that stuff. Like I said it was the first projekt on LBP2 and I really messed up the beginning of the level. So many things are done way to complicated at the beginning so its hard for me to find the reason of some problems. I could try to slim down the Arwing a bit, at least the wings and such, the body just need enough space to keep the sackboy visible inside. and sorry that the boss takes so long hehe. It takes 20 hits to remove a single point of his life bar. Just wanted to show all his attacks and this way you can't beat him until he is shooting down the other Arwings... I'll try working on the stuff you told me and thank you again | 2011-03-10 11:42:00 Author: Unknown User |
No prob. You could try to hook the Fire button to a NOT gate, and the NOT gate to the Reset input on your timer, but it might just be LBP's fault that the buttons don't "release" when it's in "slow motion". This is pretty respectable, especially for a first project. | 2011-03-10 16:27:00 Author: Loius Posts: 342 |
I also felt that the charged shots were not worth much more than the normal shots. Overall it was brilliant though - I really liked it. | 2011-03-11 17:22:00 Author: Unknown User |

I also felt that the charged shots were not worth much more than the normal shots. Overall it was brilliant though - I really liked it. Because of my system I could just increase the damage up to two hits with one shot... would that be enough ? The enemies taking 2-12 hits. I could stil try to fix the whole system too.Would just be a hard piece of work. Or maybe a completly different kind of a charged weapon ? Oh and thankies | 2011-03-14 01:28:00 Author: Unknown User |
