Cosmic Clean-up

Archive: 4 posts

Hey everyone, I played Blast Radius friday night, which is pretty much my favorite level ever, realized how awesome it was, and decided to make a wimpier version of my own. I also had played Nuclearfish's herding sheep level, can't remember what it's called, so that gave me a good looking UFO to try and soup up.

So I made this level all day Saturday, basically you have 90 seconds to get as many points as you can, you have a rapid fire weapon, a short range laser, and a repulsory cannon, that will take out everything around you.

Hopefully you check it out, I find it to be pretty fun, especially for only one day's worth of work

Hey Jay,
As promised, I played your latest level the other night. It was pretty good overall except I would of liked it to be more challenging(knowing you made a milder version). Being said that,I noticed the asteroids did not kill the player and made it too easy to rack up points. Also, the right joystick that fired small rounds did very little to gain points as opposed to the R2 button which I kept holding to destroy the asteroids. Also when holding the R1 and L1 buttons at the same time inverted the screen and was supposed to destroy all asteroids within my proximity. That was not workingand seemed somewhat confusing. Never the less, I still enjoyed it.

Yeah I just wanted something moderately interesting, I wasn't going on a full fledged level, so the asteroids don't damage you, the right stick is meant as a longer range weapon, it'll destroy things all over the map so that's its purpose, the R2 laser is faster for closer range, it is probably a little more effective, and thanks for playing!2011-03-09 21:56:00
