Pilot a fighter jet and destroy the enemy in this 2D shooter

Hey community, this is my second level, created after much fiddling with the control box. I'm pretty proud of this, but remember it's still a pretty early version. Hope you enjoy!

Well Pal, I tried the level and let me just say that was the most... AWESOME 2D SHOOTER LEVEL I'VE EVER PLAYED!

Im a little disappointed I'v been working on a top down vertical shooter for awile now but it looks like somebody beat me to it

havnt played this yet but trust me I will and from the little bit of feedback you have got it sounds like its pretty awsome!

Ive tryed it matey but cant get the plane to move. I start off ok, shoot a plane, move down and shoot another plane, then thats it, no movement. Tryed a few times too, will keep trying though pal, cuz it looks really good.2011-03-09 21:06:00

Wow! This was really impressive. Once you get used to the controls it was pretty fun. The visuals and stickerwork of the planes was phenomenal, and the effect of the clouds passing by was neat, but might look better if the clouds were a bit more staggered.

Unfortunately I had a problem near the end and got caught in an infinite death loop in the path of the bomber's gun. As you say this is an early version, you may want to tweak the bomber's cannon so it only fires while sackboy is nearby/alive (sensor switch) and slightly increase the pause time between salvos. Some sort of visual or auditory warning before the red planes shot their bombs would be nice, and some form of scoring system (maybe a bubble emitter above sackboy set to fire when you shoot down an enemy plane?)... but you've got a great start here for an excellent LBP 2D shooter! I hope you continue work on it, this has got great potential!

well I just played then and I got to say its pretty awesome the visuals were great and the plane handled pretty well it didnt move any way you didnt want it to but I would like to suggest using sensor switches to move insted of grab switches and coming up with a score system but over all a very good level

if this is an early version I cant wait to see what the final version will be, keep up the good work
