I'm glad they never used that because in comparison to what LBP2 has, that video was pretty poor I think. Somehow Avalon being evil didn't surprise me at all though. | 2011-03-07 16:21:00 Author: Moonface ![]() Posts: 310 |

I'm sort of caught between which storyline I like more, although I have to say I think that Eve is better in the early script. Maybe somebody will create this alternative storyline as a level series? | 2011-03-07 20:11:00 Author: daddy_doodle ![]() Posts: 199 |
Biodegradable Sackbots, how loud are they when you crumple them? And, speaking of loud, Evil-on sounds like he rubs his throat with sandpaper. | 2011-03-07 23:19:00 Author: Number7Million ![]() Posts: 248 |
I have it from a trusted source that these audio clips are in fact on every LBP2 blu-ray. | 2011-03-08 10:19:00 Author: oiram46 ![]() Posts: 11 |
I like half of this story idea better. but still could use work. it indeed would be interesting if someone made a if story based off of this. *mew | 2011-03-08 12:32:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz ![]() Posts: 4261 |
Hmmm... I'm torn between which Higginbotham voice I like more. | 2011-03-10 20:49:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
Very movie-like but i think Avalon is still evil in the real game. Look at the scenes he is in and what he does. | 2011-03-10 20:59:00 Author: craigmond ![]() Posts: 2426 |

there should be some secret levels after you get 100% on the other levels where avalon backstabs all the creator curators. | 2011-03-10 23:23:00 Author: Cactii ![]() Posts: 426 |
Wow, Eve sounds like a 10-year-old girl Still fine... While Higginbotham sounds like a 50's science fiction character. awesome. and Avalon sounds like a movie actor playing for the role of a villian | 2011-03-11 01:00:00 Author: Spazz ![]() Posts: 484 |

Man, a lot has changed! Did you hear them saying Nefarious, like from R&C? | 2011-03-11 01:36:00 Author: boomx2equalu ![]() Posts: 97 |
Hmm, I think I like Proto-Eve's super chipper youthful British-accented voice over final Eve's sultry Spanish accent, though I suppose if they kept it her character model would seem kind of...dissonant. And I think I've already mentioned before that I like the idea of Avalon being the one pulling the strings of the Negativatron a lot more then it simply being the collected sum of all evil (more or less). I also laughed when the Avalon=Evil with obligatory dramatic trumpets appeared. | 2011-03-11 03:21:00 Author: Dapiek Absaroka ![]() Posts: 512 |
Yes, these are found on the game disc in directories named "Theme0," "Theme1", etc., back before MM had any names for them. The uploader of that video may be in trouble for sharing the files. But if you leave a buried treasure, eventually someone is going to dig it up. | 2011-03-11 13:01:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
Hey, did anyone pick up this comment "I really thought Avalon was supposed to be evil, even in the final game. Higgenbotham has a dartboard with Avalon on it,and he's the only one eaten by Negativitron. Seems like a last minute change if you ask me." Intresting...this makes me like Avalon just that bit more.. Avalon and Clive FTW!! | 2011-03-12 20:16:00 Author: Doooomguy ![]() Posts: 68 |

I KNEW IT ALL THE TIME! ![]() Nahh, just kidding. ![]() ![]() But that makes much more sense... an electronical vaccuum cleaner, Avalon, all high tech and stuff... it all makes perfect sense. They actually didn't change the Suckers name to Negativitron on a part of the official website, I just noticed, just like some other things... ...but just look it up here (http://www.littlebigplanet.com/en/2/) if you want. Got to there by googling LittleBigPlanet 2. ![]() | 2011-03-12 23:10:00 Author: iArekusu ![]() Posts: 402 |
I kind of like both stories. Oh, and if you listen carefully after Avalon (or someone) says he doesn't know what nefarious means, he says: "Mona, prepare my craft." Who is Mona? | 2011-03-15 21:12:00 Author: Protoraptor ![]() Posts: 960 |
I kind of like both stories. Oh, and if you listen carefully after Avalon (or someone) says he doesn't know what nefarious means, he says: "Mona, prepare my craft." Who is Mona? Maybe it's one of those stereotypical female computers for (extremely lonely) villains. EDIT: The voice changes a lot between the first few lines and the rest. From squeaky voice to SANDPAPER THROAT. I'm not even sure the first voice was Avalon -- maybe an underling? | 2011-03-15 21:27:00 Author: Number7Million ![]() Posts: 248 |
I kind of like both stories. Oh, and if you listen carefully after Avalon (or someone) says he doesn't know what nefarious means, he says: "Mona, prepare my craft." Who is Mona? Probably a friend of Larry. You know, because he's based off Leonardo Da Vinci, who painted the Mona Lisa. | 2011-03-15 21:46:00 Author: Testudini ![]() Posts: 3262 |
Yeah. I kind of agree with Number7million. What would MONA stand for, if it stands for anything? By the way, do you know where to find these files (On the disc)? | 2011-03-15 21:58:00 Author: Protoraptor ![]() Posts: 960 |
Man, a lot has changed! Did you hear them saying Nefarious, like from R&C? Nefarious is actually a word. It was not made up by Insomniac games when creating the villain for Ratchet and Clank 3. I have spoken. | 2011-03-16 08:43:00 Author: tomodon246 ![]() Posts: 624 |
Protoraptor, you need to get homebrew running on your PS3. But because we can't talk about these things here, you'll have to do a Google search instead. | 2011-03-16 12:35:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |

I'm personally glad that they decided to not make Avalon the villain, and instead decided to make him a somewhat unlikeable ally who, after being abducted twice, eventually becomes a better person. I mean, he's already an accomplished creator who thinks highly of himself and takes pride (even though it seemed as if he had a bit too much for his own good) in his accomplishments, so why would he want to take over Craftworld? Doesn't make sense to me. I doubt that it's because he's lonely (like with the Collector in LBP1), as he may have already gained quite a few fans thanks to his work with applying controlinators towards his cute and cuddly robotic animals (like Bee 2.0, my personal favorite out of all his rideable animals). | 2011-03-17 09:44:00 Author: Shadow Wolf TJC ![]() Posts: 72 |
so why would he want to take over Craftworld? Doesn't make sense to me. it's a matter of always wanting to be better and wanting to be more. i've seen some LBP creators like that where they are already great but still want to be better then other people, and are not happy till they are the best, it is silly but that just how some people are. | 2011-03-17 14:16:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz ![]() Posts: 4261 |
Or get a blu-ray drive for your PC... Simply using a Blu-ray drive won't work. The game's filesystem isn't recognized by Windows. | 2011-03-17 18:49:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
Thanks Crashdance22. Also, someone should start a poll, which storyline is better, The old one (Evil Avalon) or the new one (Good Avalon). | 2011-03-18 18:40:00 Author: Protoraptor ![]() Posts: 960 |

Aww!! Eve's original voice was adorable! ^_^ I like her script as well, she sounds more like I imagined her. IE, more obsessed with nature. This should have been kept in since Eve's entire WORLD is based on nature! | 2011-03-22 20:51:00 Author: Plasmavore ![]() Posts: 1913 |
I can't help but suspect they changed Eve's accent from English to Spanish just to make the alliance more ethnically diverse. Da Vinci, Victoria, and possibly Clive and even Higgenbotham have European accents, while Avalon seems vaguely American to me (not only because of his manner of speaking but also because he is boiserous and arrogant, which is quintessentially American of course ![]() Thus, if Eve retained her original voice nearly the whole Alliance could be inferred to be European. And while I do think the story would have been improved if Avalon turned out to be the real villain, I suddenly realize that if they did this and retained the original voicework then it would seem like the story could be boiled down to a bunch of Europeans having to take down an evil American, which delves into some really unsavory implications which might have ended up looking really bad on MM's part... | 2011-03-23 03:21:00 Author: Dapiek Absaroka ![]() Posts: 512 |
Nice to see Clive still has the same lines. I prefer his first voice. Eve is way different. Gasp, Avalon sounds very evil! | 2011-03-23 22:02:00 Author: kirbyman62 ![]() Posts: 1893 |

Yeah, but Spanish speaking people are everywhere, and given the tropical/sylvan aesthetic of her area, I always assumed Eve was supposed to be South American. | 2011-03-24 04:18:00 Author: Dapiek Absaroka ![]() Posts: 512 |
In the final game, I think Avalon is still evil. There is proof because in the second phase of the final battle, Avalon brainwashes Clive, plasmafies the floor, bounces you into the air, then "accidently" fails to "catch" you if you miss the floating platforms. | 2011-04-01 01:31:00 Author: Joey9898 ![]() Posts: 131 |

That's a bit hypocritical, you get mad when someone makes fun of Americans but when you make stereotype Germans for mean people it's ok. Not a stereotype. Lots of mad scientists have a German accent. Not a stereotype. Lots of mad scientists have a German accent. (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MadScientist) . . . but not all...so i'd still classify that as a stereotype. *clears though* *makes a higganbotham vioce impression* ie: so they say zebra's are always white with black stripes, but believe me man, there are so black zebras with white stripes. it's a stereotype i say. | 2011-04-23 19:34:00 Author: iinov8 ![]() Posts: 131 |
