I'm glad they never used that because in comparison to what LBP2 has, that video was pretty poor I think. Somehow Avalon being evil didn't surprise me at all though.

I'm sort of caught between which storyline I like more, although I have to say I think that Eve is better in the early script. Maybe somebody will create this alternative storyline as a level series?

Hmm, I think I like Proto-Eve's super chipper youthful British-accented voice over final Eve's sultry Spanish accent, though I suppose if they kept it her character model would seem kind of...dissonant. And I think I've already mentioned before that I like the idea of Avalon being the one pulling the strings of the Negativatron a lot more then it simply being the collected sum of all evil (more or less). I also laughed when the Avalon=Evil with obligatory dramatic trumpets appeared.

Yes, these are found on the game disc in directories named "Theme0," "Theme1", etc., back before MM had any names for them. The uploader of that video may be in trouble for sharing the files. But if you leave a buried treasure, eventually someone is going to dig it up.

Hey, did anyone pick up this comment "I really thought Avalon was supposed to be evil,even in the final game. Higgenbotham has a dartboard with Avalon on it,and he's the only one eaten by Negativitron. Seems like a last minute change if you ask me." Intresting...this makes me like Avalon just that bit more.. I KNEW IT ALL THE TIME! Nahh, just kidding. Gotta love how they call the Negativitron 'Sucker' all the time. But that makes much more sense... an electronical vaccuum cleaner, Avalon, all high tech and stuff... it all makes perfect sense. They actually didn't change the Suckers name to Negativitron on a part of the official website, I just noticed, just like some other things... ...but just look it up here (http://www.littlebigplanet.com/en/2/) if you want. Maybe it's one of those stereotypical female computers for (extremely lonely) villains. EDIT: The voice changes a lot between the first few lines and the rest. From squeaky voice to SANDPAPER THROAT. I'm not even sure the first voice was Avalon -- maybe an underling?

I'm personally glad that they decided to not make Avalon the villain, and instead decided to make him a somewhat unlikeable ally who, after being abducted twice, eventually becomes a better person. I mean, he's already an accomplished creator who thinks highly of himself and takes pride (even though it seemed as if he had a bit too much for his own good) in his accomplishments, so why would he want to take over Craftworld? Doesn't make sense to me. I doubt that it's because he's lonely (like with the Collector in LBP1), as he may have already gained quite a few fans thanks to his work with applying controlinators towards his cute and cuddly robotic animals (like Bee 2.0, my personal favorite out of all his rideable animals).

so why would he want to take over Craftworld? Doesn't make sense to me. it's a matter of always wanting to be better and wanting to be more. i've seen some LBP creators like that where they are already great but still want to be better then other people, and are not happy till they are the best, it is silly but that just how some people are.

Aww!! Eve's original voice was adorable! ^_^ I like her script as well, she sounds more like I imagined her. IE, more obsessed with nature. This should have been kept in since Eve's entire WORLD is based on nature!

I can't help but suspect they changed Eve's accent from English to Spanish just to make the alliance more ethnically diverse. Da Vinci, Victoria, and possibly Clive and even Higgenbotham have European accents, while Avalon seems vaguely American to me (not only because of his manner of speaking but also because he is boiserous and arrogant, which is quintessentially American of course ). Thus, if Eve retained her original voice nearly the whole Alliance could be inferred to be European. And while I do think the story would have been improved if Avalon turned out to be the real villain, I suddenly realize that if they did this and retained the original voicework then it would seem like the story could be boiled down to a bunch of Europeans having to take down an evil American, which delves into some really unsavory implications which might have ended up looking really bad on MM's part...

In the final game, I think Avalon is still evil. There is proof because in the second phase of the final battle, Avalon brainwashes Clive, plasmafies the floor, bounces you into the air, then "accidently" fails to "catch" you if you miss the floating platforms.

I usually associate the locality of the characters by the location of their levels. Such as: Da Vinci-Western Europe Victoria-Eastern Europe Clive- Australia Avalon- Random Pacific Island all by himself Eve- South America Higginbotham- South Africa
