Using I-Tunes Music In My Levels

Archive: 7 posts

Is there a way to put music from outside sources into my level. For instance, i downloaded a streets of rage soundtrack om i-tunes. Id like to use it in my level somehow if possible. I thought about recording to magic mouth but the sound quality isnt the best. Any ideas?2011-03-07 07:22:00

Apart from recreating the music in a Music Sequencer, there's no other way of getting outside music into LBP2.2011-03-07 07:36:00

Theres a community level where someone put fallout 3's theme song (set the world on fire) onto a sackbot using assumably a magic mouth. This wasnt made with a sequencer. Maybe this is the only way to do it. Sound quality isnt the greatest though2011-03-07 23:24:00

Yeah, recreating someone's work in a manner that gains you nothing is one thing, but outright using someone else's work regardless of how little you have to gain from it is something else entirely.

Do you think using a magic mouth to record a song would work? I can recreate music, but it's a lot of work, and LBP doesn't have many sound effects and instruments.

By the way, are there more instruments to find in the story level? The instruments seem pretty limited. It's just enough to create a decent sounding song, but compared to some of the other software I use to make music, LBP music sequencer is actually very limited.
