The Burning Forest

I finally finished this level. I started on Thursday and finished this afternoon. It was going to have a lot more gameplay, but it overheated, sadly. It took me about 20 hours to make, and it's similar to some of the Eve's Asylum levels. Thanks for playing, and I am doing F4F as you can tell.

Not bad. It did feel really similar to Eve's Asylum at times, and it was sometimes hard to tell what you had to do/where you had to go. Some examples being the part where you move the 2 balls to open the gate and when you have to go behind the stone when you're underground. Also in the description it says you're trying to capture Robocat and Bigfoot but besides the wanted poster you don't see them. Is there going to be another part? If so you should mention it in the description or near the end of the level. Other than that it looked nice and the detail had a unique feel to it, nice job.
If you could F4F on my Brian-Eater Introduction level, I'd appreciate it.

I think I'm going to update the level so that the ball part is a bit easier.
Robocat and Bigfoot are seen a lot throughout the level, and they are eventually killed by being hanged. (They get hanged at the area before you start putting out the fire.)

Hello!

First off, nice visuals.

That said, I didn't get to see too much of it. I attempted the level two-player but couldn't proceed past the point where you defeat the larger fire Sackbot/dodge pistons in a greenhouse/try to reach a bounce pad on top of a tree/try to flick a switch onthe roof of the greenhouse. This may be part of what DragonInChains is saying about making things more clear, or it could be a multiplayer problem.

It's also possible to slip off and fall into the water at the bottom of your level. It's not very pretty down there, so I would suggest either not letting that happen or lining the bottom of your level with some sort of rock.

Hope to play it again!

I also enjoyed the visuals in your level.

I didn't have a problem finishing this level, as is, getting stuck somewhere or not knowing the path. I suggest removing the infinite checkpoints to make the level more challenging.

i played your level!
good level i must say! but it needs a bit work i think
let me help you!

i made notes while i played it. here are said notes:

- at the beginning, why is the cam moving so increadible fast? can't you do it without that? just do a cut
- you can tweek musicthingys to be not visible in play mode, don't know if you know that ^^
- nice design of the level! i like it!
- where the BIIIIG arrow is: the lava was unfair D:
- where the BIIIIG arrow is: why is there an arrow anyway? i thought its about to find the hidden items and not to get said where they are know what i mean?
- i fell in the water, try to prevent that and add some gass. also it is frustrrating if you fall down and are able to grab everywhere but you are doooomed.
- don't glue points together that looks not good. try to glue them on hologramms with a stick in air 100% tweek - or place that tweek on the point bubbles
- i was a bit scared... what the heck... but it was just a flying-powerup... lol! confused at the beginning make the item more visible so it is seen befor get
- i was confused what to do when the green/red/yellow sponge first appeared. (where the flying powerup is at the first time) i know its an easy thing to do but, its hard to figure out if you don't know. well i tryed random what to do. - OH and try to make a "success" sound and show with a cam that it lifts up, so the player knows ahhh hi made it! cause i missed that it moved up so i thought i did something wrong and placed them somehow else again.
- bridge after that part is very very unfair. nobody could have knows that this is not normal passable.
- when you use the water to make the ground passable again it was bit "meh" that the points fell down when i hit' them with the water
- tweek the creatinator to allow more or infinitive water drops. it stops when you shot them.
- i did not know that i had to hit the green thing with the water to get further. do a small hint
- you can not grab if you got the creatinator in use. unfair jump if you need to grab. (same later)
- btw you can connect checkpoitns with player sensores. maybe helpfull! so the player won't miss them to active.
- try to make a small boss (maybe a bigger meany spitting fire or someting? just image something fun it's allways good to end a level with something big. heh)

i really hope this notes help you and make this level even MORE better!

Ok here it goes:
Ive played this level this morning and i have reviewed in game but i will say here:
- 1st Overall the levels is very nice.. i like plataforming like this.
- 2nd u need fix some errors
- At beggining there is a lever that is to hard to get up on way after use it.. ive falled dow like 10 times (the one that activate that guy with fire mouth)
- When we get Jetpack Sensors are Visible
- There is an Hologram Arrow Pointing up - with 5 balls. After touch the balls Arrow fall down.. and i dont know how to go up.
These were the big errors ive found.
Then that Fire guys they run like hell is hard to point and shoot them sometimes.. nothing bad against that but in some situations makes game hard.

Rest is ok. Was Visualy good. good plataforming seccions. Overall i give 6/10 - Fix that erros . say here and i will play again to keep my score 1st
