Touhou Arena Preview (http://lbp.me/v/xnrctp) http://lbp.me/v/xnrctp Since my levels won't be found anywhere except through text search, I thought I'd share them here. I've been slowly developing a free-for-all arena level based on the Touhou series. Being based on a pre-existing game, I fear it may be completely overlooked by those not a fan of or those who are unfamiliar with the series. While I'm not yet finished with the actual arena, I do have 3 levels of previews. The first contains a small gallery of pictures I took while working on the basics of the arena as well as a sackbot demonstration. At the end of the level there's a key that unlocks the first tutorial which teaches players how to control the sackbots that will be used in the arena. After completing the first tutorial, there is a level key and level link which lead to the second tutorial which teaches the use of a special sackbot and also contains the general layout of the arena. The arena itself will contain eight characters in the form of sackbots which players can choose between. Players score points by shooting other players' sackbots. The eighth sackbot is special, and earns points by taking pictures of the other sackbots. Basically, they all earn points by "shooting" other sackbots. Attached are images of spell cards I have recreated for my arena. They serve as special abilities unique to each character that can be used against opponents after obtaining a power-up. While these levels are aimed towards the Touhou fanbase, I still think the arena can be enjoyed by other players as a generic versus level.
