POTC/MGS Trophies in LBP2?
Archive: 7 posts
Simple questions, can you get the trophies for the POTC and MGS DLC in LittleBigPlanet 2? Thanks. | 2011-03-06 01:46:00 Author: Sambo110 Posts: 162 |
I don't think so. At least, they aren't in my LBP2 trophy list. | 2011-03-06 01:47:00 Author: alexbull_uk Posts: 1287 |
No. It's LBP2. Not LBP1. If you could, then people without LBP1 could get some of the trophys. | 2011-03-06 03:18:00 Author: jalr2d2 Posts: 256 |
Yea it's logical since they would need to repeat trophys, but little unfair since that DLC is paralytically also LBP2 DLC I guess thanks to new pin system there will be pins for every DLC with levels, since MM can add them as they want not like trophys that they need to as Sony. This will fix problem in possible future sequels | 2011-03-06 04:15:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |

Plus, i may be wrong here, but I think certain DLC, and all games, are alloted a points value to apply to trophies. i don't recall the actual values, but basically you have a points pool, and the developers can put in whatever level of trophies they can afford with that pool. Only full games get the platinum though. | 2011-03-06 05:49:00 Author: tdarb Posts: 689 |

Only full games get the platinum though. Owned by Sony =/= Be Sony, they still need to talk with them and Sony need to very trophy balance. And this is not PSN trophy system works, trophies are assignd to something called game id and only specific game with specific id can activate them, so LBP2 cant trigger DLC trophies that are assign to LBP1 and if LBP2 had duplicated trophies it would double the points, which makes nonsence to do. So this is PSN trophies issue to not support such problems. But LBP2 seems to give trophy for a pin not event in the game, so if LBP1 had pins (which won't happen) when you get disc with LBP1 and you would get trophies that you got in LBP2 automaticly Yet again, people with LBP2 do get Paintinator and Water free, which were some of the main points for it, I mean, come on, the story is cool and all, but how many people are really gonna get it now that the main stuff is already in the game? Are we talking about DLC content or Trophies attached to them? i was thinking that 2nd part. What you saying is the reason why they allow to did that, since it's not impotent, still little unfair ;] | 2011-03-06 16:05:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |
