Invisible, physical, material.

I'm tired of using Dark Matter when I want to have an invisible wall in my level, then I lose the Matter and I can't touch it again. ![]() | 2011-03-05 22:40:00 Author: Leafy101 ![]() Posts: 154 |
What I do is attach a hologram to the invisible walls. I will never lose it again. But maybe an invisible material would be nice. It could have a faded effect like hologram, but it would be a solid color and no animations. | 2011-03-05 22:48:00 Author: Devious_Oatmeal ![]() Posts: 1799 |
There is a way to make hologram physical. It still goes invisible and sackboy can pass through it but objects can't. Not quite what you said but it's pretty close. ![]() But I do agree that there needs to be a physical invisible material. Maybe a physical tweak option on hologram material? | 2011-03-06 00:04:00 Author: trip090 ![]() Posts: 1562 |
I think a cooler feature, but basically the same idea, would be to add "invisibility" to the Material Tweaker. | 2011-03-06 01:02:00 Author: BloodShot9001 ![]() Posts: 116 |
That's a good idea. It makes sense to put it there, too. | 2011-03-06 01:56:00 Author: Leafy101 ![]() Posts: 154 |
You can get "Invisible Matter" from a community level. Try searching for "invisible glitch." It acts just like glass and it casts a shadow but it's invisible. I don't know where it came from. | 2011-03-06 02:48:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
There's no point to have an invisible tweaker. The material is going to be invisible anyways. It's like having an invisible car that was painted the greatest color in the world. | 2011-03-06 02:56:00 Author: Devious_Oatmeal ![]() Posts: 1799 |

Really? I wasn't aware of this, hows it done? Take a block of normal hologram and attach a a destroyer to it. Set the destroyer to "Fall Apart". Then hook the destroyer to a battery. Then, quickly unpause and before the hologram dissapears, pause again. There you go! To save it, gas it and then save it. When you pull it out of your popit, just ungas it. It will also become smearable. | 2011-03-06 10:44:00 Author: trip090 ![]() Posts: 1562 |
You could always just glue some holo to the invisible Dark Matter, so you don't loose it. ![]() | 2011-03-06 11:19:00 Author: Silverleon ![]() Posts: 6707 |
There's no point to have an invisible tweaker. The material is going to be invisible anyways. It's like having an invisible car that was painted the greatest color in the world. Not if it works like an Alpha slider, where you can change the visibility from 0%, being completely invisible but still having the properties of the material, or 100% being completely visible. But being its own tweaker would be unnecessary, it could just be one of the things in the material Tweaker. | 2011-03-06 17:59:00 Author: Chdonga ![]() Posts: 388 |
