Sure you can, on the circuit board. Set it to receive and then put a piece of holo down with another contollinator on it set to transmit. Put a follower mover on the holo and assign it a tag. Put the matching tag on the circuit board of the sackbot. Now when you play you can give the illusion that the controllinator is attached to the sackbot.

EDIT: Basically what comphy put in the post below this one. He's so much better at explaining things than I am

but you still cant attach controlinators to sackbots as it as in early versions (announce trailer) ;] i guess it because sackboy on sackbot on sackbot on infinity numbers of sackbot issue also sackboy on standard size sackbot would not look very nice2011-03-04 20:08:00

You can bolt a piece of holo to a sackbot's chest, and put a control seat on that.

(the holo-follow method is the more common approach, however...)

Bolt it to the sackbot's chest? Literally?

Yea it's a old glitch ;] you can bolt things to sackboy even on LBP1 by placeing object with bolt when sackboy is behind and sackbots that using same actor model adapted this too

And as you can see this includes all bolt based things, including motors etc.
