I have searched the forums for an answer to this, but I couldn't find one. Is there a way to turn off the hum noise when paused in create mode? It's gets on my nerves after an hour or so, and would like to turn it off if possible. I know I can mute the sound on my TV, but then I wouldn't be able to hear if things are beings glued etc.

There is a kind of solution Go to the tool section of your Popit, go to the last page (where you can edit lights and stuff) and turn down the background volume to 0%. It should be silent now. Hope this helps!

It seems there is also the option to play your own music stored on your PS3 during Create mode. It doesn't get rid of the humming sound, but you can mask it with a sound you do enjoy.
