Everyone knows(I think) that on the bottom of creatinators is a creatinator and a paint gun, & they couldn't be separated until now, I finally separated the two and in this level I'm giving them away, and they are shareable, enjoy.

Also the Pod controller is weird I can place it, pick it back up and move it somewhere else if I want but no one else can. So I'm giving it away to see if anyone else can.

Here's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zelZjBdb2So) a video tutorial on all of this because people don't understand-_-

How far have you gone into testing these, "Bottomless Power-ups"?

Are you sure we won't put them in a level and BAM!!! YLOD. (I wish I could say the FG reference)

Also, how did you do it? (If it's against the rules to ask, I apologize)

lol, they are on the bottom of every creatinator they are perfectly safe, it was found in beta. & it's still possible to do in the full game these aren't beta imports. & In the level I say how I did it.

So you could do it yourself if you wanted but you will not be able to separate the Gun and Creatinator, because only I know how to do that.

What exactly do you mean by "on the bottom of the creatinator"? Does this also work with other powerups? This sounds like a really neat glitch, though...

BTW, the reason the pod controller can't be picked up is because it's a decal object. Decal objects in LBP2 can only be detached or deleted by their original creators, which is really annoying to say the least...

I tried following your instructions, but they were too vague. :/
"get tethered jetpack + item, popit cursor, hold R2 pess X on jetpack first, then object, then rotate/twist them both by holding up on the right stick"
Plus why does this level take ages to load? (or not at all?)

That's my twisted object level, & how do people not get it? Select the jetpack then the object and rotate them up, and it will twist the object.

& it only works with the creatinator, in that level I show where it is on the big creatinator.

We dont get it because no one can understand your instructions, I had absolutely no clue what the first post was trying to say:

that on the bottom of creatinators is a creatinator and a paint gun, & they couldn't be separated until now
There arent creatinators and paint guns on the bottom of creatinators, and obviously they cant be seperated because they cant be combined. I had to read a few posts to understand what you were trying to say. Your instructions are not clear in any way, and you combine them all into 3 word sections in one sentence. Im not sure how you can read that and wonder why no one can understand it.

Select the jetpack then the object and rotate them up, and it will twist the object.

& it only works with the creatinator, in that level I show where it is on the big creatinator.

So I select the object. Then I rotate it up, and the object will turn? That happens with the other few thosand objects too you know... And you said select the jetpack, do this, but it only works on the creatinator... So why am I doing it with the jetpack? And you show what on the big creatinator? You need to work on clarity.

I don't know how to reply to that in words so I made a crude video tutorial just for you guys at LBPC showing you Twist tutorial & that there is a paint gun/creatinator on the bottom of a creatinator.

& if you can make a better tutorial for twist, do it and i'll change the tutorial in my level.

Here's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqBuTHf9vz0) the video

Try twisting material and you get cool shadow effect. You can even change material and it stays.

Edit: It look little bit like mirror glitch
Edit2: You can get different effect by pushing analog stick down.
Edit3: Using it too many times will make it invisible.

I already twisted every material I have, and gave it away. 8^)

I didn't know! But you don't need to twist every material only one as you can change material.2011-03-04 19:38:00

Gotta try these later... The paintinator as a deco would make a great addition to my costume! 2011-03-04 19:42:00

Oh, wow. Just... wow. The twist glitch officially wins. Man, I cannot WAIT to get home from school to try it out. Mm, don't you DARE patch this!

I still have absolutely no idea of what you mean in the first post here, though.

EDIT: My bad, didn't watch all of the video. Now I understand...

It's not an actual decoration sorry. could't think of a better name.

Oh and no one can make a better worded tutorial??

After watching the video, I can do it, but how do I stick the creatinator/paintgun up the right way instead of top down?
Can you achieve a powerup which equips the player, but does not have a base?
(as the base is physical) and hits other layers, which I don't want.

You have to twist it to make it face right.

& in the beta some guy made power ups with no base and no picture of the power up(it was just the white light) but he never gave it away. So the best we have is the twisted powerups that can be equipped from a distance.

I call 'em "decal objects". (Might have mentioned this already...)

Have you checked to see if any other powerups contain hidden mini versions of themselves?

Just realized something - the other powerups are not decal objects at all, so there's no chance of this working on them.

And BTW, you're no longer the only person who knows how to separate the paintinator/creatinator, LVE_MSG.

It was nice of you to share and I'll try these out the next time I play. The condescending tone in your vid and the "only I know how and I'm not telling" were a bit obnoxious, though.2011-03-05 07:10:00

I find object rotation the most interesting, does it only work with the no-player gate? (No PS3 access, can't play level or test question.)2011-03-05 07:13:00

I've been doing some experimenting and it works on everything I've tried so far except checkpoints and scoreboards. It has a weird effect of squashing the objects, though. Like if you're looking straight at them from the side they look fine, but once the camera turns, you can see that it's nearly flat.

I figured out how to get the paintinator separately. It's a weird process and it might not be the same one that lve uses, but what I did was set the creatinator to emit another creatinator. Then I fired it in pause mode and I had a nice ghost-looking creatinator (that's how creatinators emit in pause mode). It wouldn't let me copy the decal decos while it was ghosted but if I stuck another decal onto it (like the creatinator decal from another creatinator), then I could select both the added one and the regular one. The regular one only gave me a paintinator (for some reason that's just how it works when it's ghostly) so I was able to stick them all on a bit of cardboard and erase through the cardboard at the decals I didn't want, leaving only the paintinator. As for turning them on their side, use the same jetpack trick that lve showed in the vid.

The twisted objects thing is pretty cool.. messed around with it a bit.

Making twisted objects rotate makes a super cool optical illusion.
http://i6.lbp.me/img/fl/386501e6ffa65087d08b9432f2e71a0ff5259792.jpg

If you walk on the gear as it rotates you shift to the front and back of it, but remain on it.. so crazy!

Good job on finding a different method, and ya sorry for the tone of my voice it just annoyed me that ATM said that my tutorial wasn't clear and that there wasn't the gun and creatinator on the bottom of a creatinator.

& since you guys seem to want to know how to separate them This (http://lbp.me/v/xkkhb5) level of mine gives a huge creatinator all I did was take it off the bottom of the huge one and they were separated. Very simple lol

& i'm glad you all like the twist glitch, make everything you want twisted before this gets patched though(thats why I twisted every material)

I found a perfect use for twisting objects! You know how when you try to shrink things to 'sack size'? Like the soda cans, and they shrink to the right size, but they look all stretched out in the layer and awful? I twisted them with the jetpack & they look so perfect now!! Just right for sacks to hold. This will be great for movies! Also twisted the tv to look like it's mounted at an angle in the corner of a room. I'm having so much fun with it! Thanks for making that video & sharing with us. =)2011-03-06 05:52:00

Edit3: Using it too many times will make it invisible.

thats because objects dont have a back side.

For example, lets say you twist a perfect square so much that your looking at its back. you wont ever be able to see the back in littlebigplanet, so mm thought " why bother on putting the backs on these items?"

I know that but I were talking about materials. They will disappear if twisted too much and you cannot use big chunks of it.
