*key no longer required for this level* Sorry about the quality, but it was the best I could do. This is a preview/tutorial just like I did for the first level. I highly recommend watching this and paying close attention to the text for anyone who's having trouble with this level. 4WEE2DFCWNc Highlights -Completely original design -Starts where the first one finishes -Challenging -Original creatures -Story flows well with the first -60+ hours of work Feedback will be greatly appreciated. For those of you who have checked out the first level and who continue leave me comments and messages...Thanks a ton it means a lot Well i hope you all can check it out, see you in game. Hey man, just saw this. I will give it a go within the next couple of hours and get back to you | 2008-11-24 06:25:00 Author: OCK Posts: 1536 |
thank you Ock i really appreciate it If you have any problems at all, let me know and i will fix it ASAP. I don't have any testers, but i am thorough. I played through this level at least 30 times before i published it. However, what i noticed about a lot of creators is that they find out a lot of small bugs after their level has been published. So...just let me know | 2008-11-24 08:20:00 Author: xbriandeadx Posts: 134 |
I have to say, both of these levels are great. The detail is just amazing. I believe you used the color correction thing for the lighting, which I've yet to see used in a good way. Just make sure your TV isn't set too dark... >.> | 2008-12-01 18:57:00 Author: gameguy888 Posts: 159 |

Just make sure your TV isn't set too dark... >.> Thanks gameguy. A ton of work went into both levels and im happy to say that this one flows perfectly with the first one. This level has a lot of the same elements as the first, but has a different feel to it. It's a different gaming experience than the first, so people who don't like the way the first one was set up, may like the second one better. Anywho, thanks for the feedback gameguy i appreciate it. The third level is going to take me a while because of finals coming up D= So expect something around January. It will be nothing less than "epic" | 2008-12-03 00:13:00 Author: xbriandeadx Posts: 134 |
Hey man, you already know my toughts on this and I am sorry I have not commented here sooner so here it goes: - This is a lengthy and challenging level with an epic feel. The layout is varied and well thought out. - The boss is just...amazing! Possibly the biggest boss I have ever fought in LBP and very well designed. - It is a continuation to an ongoing story so the scope of eveything is ambitious. The visual style is a continuation of Abandoned Coal Mine which I really like and whcih serves to reinforce the idea of being trapped in a dark, depressing, hopeless place. I have no suggestions because as you know I sent them all to you through PSN lol. Great work, 5 star and hearted. I look forward to the next one (conclusion of the story?) but I have to say I would love to see what else you could come up with using a completely different visual/theme/story because what you have here is so well done | 2008-12-03 01:11:00 Author: OCK Posts: 1536 |
Star Wars lol nice work | 2008-12-03 01:35:00 Author: Thee-Flash Posts: 3154 |
Thanks for the comments guys. I've unlocked this level so anyone can play it now without needing to play through the first level..although it would be better if people did play through the first...then the second would make more sense. XD Hopefully if people are curious enough when they're playing the second one, they might actually attempt the first. - It is a continuation to an ongoing story so the scope of eveything is ambitious. Thanks Ock i couldn't have said it better myself If anyone has any suggestions or problems at all, please let me know and I'll see what i can do. | 2008-12-06 20:42:00 Author: xbriandeadx Posts: 134 |
First of all, the video tutorial helped me out immensely! Thank you so much for that. Even the pros will probably need the help since this one is even a little more difficult than the first (in a good, challenging way of course ). It was very well put together . I can't decide which I love more-this level or the first (abandoned coal mine). "His" world ties in beautifully with the first level, but it also brings something new to the table. I thought the dark theme in this level was even more demoniacally awesome than the themes in the first level, and of course I was looking forward to the continuation of the story. This one conveyed a sense of fear, (being trapped in this place, as was mentioned in the other thread) which I think is VERY difficult to do in LBP, mainly because everything usually seems so happy..lol. The boss in THIS level was INCREDIBLE. and no, I'm not exaggerating..haha. It was challenging, visually impressive, and I especially loved the art (*which did help XD*). I still can't decide which one I like better, but one thing I do know is that the third (there will be a third, riiight?) is going to be grand. I will be eagerly waiting. YES. Thanks again for the fun trip to "His" world ^__^ | 2008-12-10 10:22:00 Author: din0elle Posts: 5 |
I will definitely be playing this once I get the chance. I loved the Abandoned Coal Mine, so I'm very much looking forward to this. | 2008-12-12 19:43:00 Author: Unknown User |

Thanks I'm happy you really enjoyed this one as well. I'm glad you took advantage of the tutorial I made. I will definitely be playing this once I get the chance. I loved the Abandoned Coal Mine, so I'm very much looking forward to this. You're in for a treat then. There are actually creatures running around in this one with some platforming elements mixed in. It's a great continuation of the first one. It's difficult in different ways, so it's definitely a different experience than the first. I made the same theme, but with slightly different gaming mechanics. It's more intense, just for the fact that you constantly have to be on the lookout and you must constantly jump to avoid fire and switch planes. Hope you like it, but if this style isn't your thing i hope you appreciate it. | 2008-12-13 05:00:00 Author: xbriandeadx Posts: 134 |
Ok, so I wont be able to check it out for a little while (gotta go to sleep) but it looks great, in the video the frame rate is good and slow frame rate is the only problem I had with the first one so I am very excited. | 2008-12-13 06:29:00 Author: Hexagohn Posts: 335 |

The frame rate is good on the first one since you played it, i fixed that problem a long time ago. I hope you enjoy the second one. | 2008-12-13 20:50:00 Author: xbriandeadx Posts: 134 |
Wow, I loved it! It was very long, but it remained atmospheric and full of challenging puzzles and platforming throughout. I don't know what else to say; great job. | 2008-12-17 02:15:00 Author: Grethiwha Posts: 61 |

Over winter break I'm going to try and crackdown on part 3. In the mean time I look forward to all of your feedback.
