I don't think it needs more information than what is already in the LittleBigPlanet level description
Enjoy!

Yes indeed
Haven't made it sharable yet in case someone goes and steals it, but i'm gonna make it sharable as soon as it gets more known.

Very nice indeed. Just played it.

My only issue is, at the end when you enter the scoreboard, it says that you recieve an object, but I can't find the object in my popit.

Yeah, I looked. Nothing there.

Make sure that collecting community items is on ^^(press start in pod > settings)

And if you got that, the items you get are actually invisible in the popit menu (but they are selectable (you can see the name)

Could be.. Anyways, I have started seeing some levels being made with this glitch.
Most of them are still very basic levels.. But at least it's being used

One of those levels had several plasmafied blocks on the road. And these blocks were hard to dodge because I had to get used to the new cam

I know the gift level itself is pretty bare-bones and basic, but I was in a rush when I made it because I had to make homework. I will turn it into a short platforming level later, better showcasing the glitch.

P.S. I just realised that this belongs in Object Showcase. Can someone move it, please?

It's a shame changing the layer of the camera doesn't effect the view.

Me and Strangepom are working with this, lots of potential.

Only thing is its going to take a lot of level perspective work to make anything good with it. Lots of stuff that looks great from the front looks horrible from the side.
Need to create a whole new visuals mental perspective to make it look right, and the gameplay needs to be a careful balance.

If you do manage to get it right though, its opens up new gameplay.

Well you also cant put much detail into a level that uses this because the cam basically shows a level in side view. Because of this, any great detail might cause those !/ to come out since thier could be too much info on screen causing things to disappear while playing. Your best bet could be probly only using the cam in certain areas of a lvl like tunnels. You could probly also use it for cinema since it gives a new perspective.2011-03-04 14:25:00

@L1GhTmArE: True, you need to make it slightly less detailed.. But it can still handle a pretty nice level of detail!

MAJOR UPDATE!
I improved the cam, you can now manually control it with the Right Stick, and you can toggle the 3D view on/off with the L1 button! I also stickered and named the chip on it. You can customize the controls, just follow the notes on the chip.

@Hoplyte: Did you play the newest version? It has right-stick camera controls and you can customize the controls.

I've gathered together all the levels that provide the 3D tools into one level using Level Links, providing the entire community with one, central toolkit for making a 3D level. Also has a link to fubalicious's level, stating it as the originator of the glitch.

Both my 3D Platforming Cam and "All the 3D tools you need for making your very own 3D level" are on Cool Levels Page 1 at the moment, and kurobit's 3D FPS cam is at #1 at the moment which it deserves because it is the final step in the "LBP2 3D Revolution", as I like to call it.

Also, i'm gone for this weekend, so don't expect any updates to either my 3D levels or the Creator's Toolkit.
