I love how higginbotham has the Summation symbol and Beta on his ears lol. The "Summation symbol" is actually a Greek letter as well. Sigma (Greek S) is normally used to denote the mathematical operation of summation, as you rightfully stated ![]() On topic: Really; how did you manage to remove their hair? It looks like you are viewing them through some kind of "groovy" glass material? | 2011-03-03 13:14:00 Author: Slaeden-Bob ![]() Posts: 605 |
He probably used the decoration editor. | 2011-03-03 13:18:00 Author: Leafy101 ![]() Posts: 154 |
or if you look closely you'll notice he put a kind of glass over them both. *mew | 2011-03-03 13:59:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz ![]() Posts: 4261 |

Sigma (Greek S) is normally used to denote the mathematical operation of summation, as you rightfully stated ![]() I didn't know about it being a Greek letter but then again practically everything used in math is a Greek symbol, I use to use it in my statistic class that's why i know what it is. ![]() | 2011-03-03 14:51:00 Author: Ghost ![]() Posts: 114 |
Ah, yes, the Greek letter Sigma. My favorite Greek letter of them all (no surprise). Interesting to find it on a story character. And good job with the deconstruction! | 2011-03-03 15:02:00 Author: EliminatorZigma ![]() Posts: 173 |
I believe it's walk-through glass...When you stand inside of it, the physics of certain aspects of your costume go crazy, sometimes stretching all the way down through the floor. Creepy. | 2011-03-03 17:55:00 Author: TheZimInvader ![]() Posts: 3149 |
Hair-removing glass? YESSS | 2011-03-03 18:00:00 Author: gdn001 ![]() Posts: 5891 |
Imagine if we had that in real life O.O I thought Eve was an apple with a face, and this proves it (look at the top). There's a suprising amount of detail for bits you don't see. | 2011-03-03 20:45:00 Author: kirbyman62 ![]() Posts: 1893 |
He probably used the decoration editor. Nope. I was messing around with different materials, and layering different glasses. When I put the sackbots behind the glass, their hair was just.. gone. Oh, and Victoria's eyes went all weird. They hair wasn't stretched, it's just gone. I tried this with the other sackbots, but these three are the only ones effected. I'd tell you guys how to re-create it, but I really don't know. Half an hour or so with messing with materials. ![]() | 2011-03-03 22:10:00 Author: littlebigmeteor ![]() Posts: 396 |
Waterfall Material. Kinda hard to see. Can tell why it took half an hour of messing around. | 2011-03-04 01:25:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
lol thats funny, victoria is really scarin me tho D: | 2011-03-04 04:29:00 Author: Distinct-Creator ![]() Posts: 198 |
I'm guessing nothing changed for the other story characters? Or didn't you try them? I'm quite curious what Da Vinci has underneath that paper beard of his. Or what eyes Avalon has behind those glasses. XD | 2011-03-04 09:30:00 Author: Moonface ![]() Posts: 310 |
If you put a sackbot with Avalon costume in a controllinator and see it from above you can see which eyes he has O.o | 2011-03-04 11:15:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |

Waterfall Material. Kinda hard to see. Can tell why it took half an hour of messing around. It wasn't waterfall material. Yeah, the other sackbots don't do anything. | 2011-03-04 21:50:00 Author: littlebigmeteor ![]() Posts: 396 |
Meteor don't be taking credit for this holms. The glitch is caused by simply putting glass of any kind infront of any models or decorations that use a special kind of shader (like on any thing that uses the fur shader.) | 2011-03-05 01:58:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
(Hmmmm.... I'm strangely not attracted to Eve anymore... ) What? What am I thinking about? Nothing. | 2011-03-05 02:02:00 Author: creator22 ![]() Posts: 162 |
It wasn't waterfall material. Yeah, the other sackbots don't do anything. Well waterfall material works. | 2011-03-05 02:24:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
Victoria looks like she could be in a horror movie or something . . . LittleBigGrudge? | 2011-03-05 14:03:00 Author: Number7Million ![]() Posts: 248 |
I found out if you use the pixel/8-Bit glass material, it causes accesories and other random things (like Eve's hair, Higginbotham's hair, Avalon's chest hair lol) to become invisible. That's one method at that. | 2011-03-08 02:42:00 Author: Fang ![]() Posts: 578 |
