Ok, my mom is getting a large sum of money ( similar to taxes, but has to do with something else. ) and she is getting me a VERY nice mp3 player, but she's letting me choose between two. Now, here's where things get complicated, Both of them are coby mp3 players, ( actually, they're more like small tablets, but, they don't do as much. ) bothe of them are over a hundred dollars in value ( I am thoughroughly blown away at this. Too bad i can't as for it in psn cards. ) and, i can't find as much information about one. One is the Coby PMP-7040 , which looks like this. http://www.optimumstore.com/images/product/store1/sku11970960_lg1.jpeg, which is the best phto i can find, so far, and the Mp977 which looks like this. http://www.cobyusa.com/files/hi_res/MP977_HR.jpg Both of them have 7 inch screens, with 1080p hd resolutions, . The 7040 has a 40GB hard drive, but, the 977 has an 8gb storage base. ( both are expandable. ) The 977 seems to be newer, because i can't even find a page on the coby website for it, other than the instruction manual and a specs page. I want one that can use the internet, i know the 977 can, but cannot find if the 7040 can, same with apps, like for andriod or iphone, i would like to be able to use those too. Any information would be helpful, thanks.
