Phantom Dungeon's (1 Player Demo)

Phantom Dungeon's is a top down action strategy game where you must destroy the enemy before it destroys you. I recommend watching the tutorial first to learn all the phantoms controls. Ive spent over 20 hours working on this level and haven't got many plays at all. If you play it please leave some feedback on what you like and don't like so I can improve upon it.

Full multiplayer Version coming soon!

Interesting level, if a little confusing!

Some things I noticed
The HUD around the ship looks good if a little confusing at first. I didnt really understand the weapon charging system and the different attacks didnt seem to do more or less damage than any other, dont know if thats intentional.
It's very dark, i realise thats maybe for atmosphere but it could do with being brighter in my opinion and dont think it would detract from the ambience.
The enemy attacks are unavoidable as they appear to home in on you, which means there isnt much to do apart from sit infront of an enemy waiting for weapons to charge so you can use them.
The targetting system is cool, however maybe you could make it change colour when you're actually in range. A lot of the time the weapons would fire but not actually go anywhere, then you have to wait for them to charge up again

All in all, not bad for a demo!

I had real, real problems with this and I hate to say that because it's obvious that a lot of work was put into it.

- Everything's way too small, I play on a crappy old tv and it was impossible to see anything, especially the display round the thing you're controlling.
- The movement was really sluggish and slow, which on top of being annoying meant you couldn't dodge any attacks.
- My attacks kept firing but then doing nothing.

I had to give up eventually seeing as I couldn't really do anything ):

I did like the atmosphere though, and the weapon-charge up system was pretty cool. Hopefully these problems are fixed in the full version (:
