^^ This exactly. Prototype was an unpolished button smasher that a simple chimp could beat most of the levels.
I think infamous was better because they had more time to develop it. Prototype was a multi-platform, where as Infamous was an exclusive.

It really depends on your taste for games. As you can see with the above posters, this game gets compared to inamous a LOT, and I'll bet Prototype 2's release will more then likely be around Infamous 2's causing more comparisons.

There are a lot of similarities between the 2, Apocolyptic like New York style setting for example. Prototype is more like a button masher but fill the game up with loads of moves of things, hijacking tanks, missle launchers, disguising yourself as marines and taking out their base (whether brute force or Stealth its your call), weilidng swords, shields, whips etc. The story is definetly a little dull, and many times confusing, even with finding all the side story extra quests The difficulty spikes up during the 2nd half, especially on hard mode, but its always a blast doing all kinds of different things in Prototype, Disguise yourself as a marine and lead an army through the zombie hoard, trying to see how long your army can last, Picking up and throwing civilians at tanks/marines far away and see how long it takes for them realize something is wrong . The challenges are definetly interesting, but most are the same can get repetivite, like glide and land on a target, kill X amount of zombies in X seconds in a helicopter.

I found Prototype better than Infamous only because I found goofing around in Prototype more fun than Infamous with just playing it 2 times (Good and evil) and then never playing it again (because doing the missions twice is enough, even if they missions are way better than prototypes) and i found the combat just a bit dull in infamous, likke an electric FPS

Im a big Infamous fan but I have to agree a bit with that, in the game you are presented with a large array of combat types but in risky situations you really only feel like using a small amount of them, as to not waste energy and such, but when you are a bit more relaxed (like if you play through on Evil) you can have a lot more fun with Coles more chaotic and energy consuming abilities From what is seems like though Infamous 2 has put a lot more concentration on some crazy electric-melee fusion combat.
