Hey guys, I will try and make this as easy to understand as possible cause I confuse myself just thinking about it..(kinda) Anyway, so I bought a ps3 and bought littlebigplanet 2 (best investment ever) so I beat it, but then I heard about the import feature for lbp2 so I bought the first lbp. Still with me? I'm on the verge of getting 100% in the first lbp and getting ready to import all that data to lbp2. So here is the question: Will my lbp save data be successfully imported to lbp2 even though I have already beat lbp2 beforehand? Or do I have to restart lbp2 again after importing? Or will my lbp data suddenly get screwed up or disappear after I import it to the already ongoing lbp2 file? If anybody has an answer to this or had first hand experience with my situation please post a response. I'm afraid I might screw up one file or another importing. I really don't want to get 100% again in lbp... Thanks!

You can always backup your profile data, so if something gets screwed up, you can restore.

It will all import regardless of what you do in lbp2. I went back to get items in lbp after completing lbp2 and they successfully imported.

Upon entering LBP2 after going back to LBP1, you'll be asked if you want to import your LBP1 items. Say yes, this won't get rid of your LBP2 stuff. Or you can go Start > Settings > Profile > Import Objects Collect In LittleBigPlanet. It basically adds anything new into your profile while still keeping the LBP2 stuff in.

You can should always backup your profile data, so if something gets screwed up, you can restore. Fixed that for ya. Seriously, though, always make a backup before you try anything you're not sure about, and it doesn't hurt to make regular backups anyway - even if you do everything right, a bug in the game can still kill your profile in a number of random ways - sometimes just playing a community level can do it.
