To Find a Bomb (open world, real consequences, finding clues, and a time limit)

Archive: 4 posts

I just got a brilliant inspiration from the latest episode of Castle.
Your character begins at the police station receiving images from an anonymous terrorist group of a large bomb being set for 15 minutes. When you leave the station, the countdown begins and you're on your own to search for clues and find it. Here's the catch, you're in a decent sized apocalyptic open world setting and thanks to Randomizers, I have the ability to place the bomb in one of three random locations, leaving different clues around town.
It's your job to track down the bomb and figure out a way to disarm it all in 15 minutes with a different scenario every time you play.

Does that sound like something compelling you would want to play?

I think it would be really fun to make a big platforming playground in an apocalyptic setting. I have a pretty good attention to detail as you may have seen in my latest level and I think I can definitely pull off the moody vibe as well as making the level enjoyable, tense, and actually functional.

What do you think? Any suggestions?

Some sort of special police / detective unit perhaps? This could posssibley allow for a few neat gadgets such as somthing similar to The solid eye in MGS4 or the awesome-glasses in Heavy Rain that the FBI man wears. Just my input, great idea and has potential
