I'm creating a music movie to a song with lyrics, and want widescreen (cinematic) subtitled video. I'm getting mixed results and want some experienced advice on what I should be doing. I have a music sequencer with embedded sequencers with magic mouths to align the lyrics with finer granularity than the music sequencer allows. For the movie control I have a sequencer of movie camera for each scene, triggered by a battery in the music sequencer. I have had it so that the movie cameras are letterboxed, but recently this stopped working on some cameras and my carefully cropped scenes were showing full screen. I've just found if I set the magic mouths to Movie Camera, but don't set their movie camera settings, the view follows my sequnced movie cameras and is letterboxed, but the letterbox shrinks and grows between magic mouths, which looks a little disconcerting! So really, what's the correct way to set up cameras and mouths so that the whole movie stays in letterboxed mode?

Do you have any game cameras involved? I've found if you have a movie camera and game camera active at the same time, the screen follows the movie camera's position but removes the black bars like with a regular game camera. Sorry, can't be more help than that.

Make sure 'Disable Controllers' is ticked

@Xaif : No game cameras. It's a Movie type level, all movie cameras. @ Tommy012345 : yeah, I found that one, which is what I used to think caused letterboxing. And when setting up a camera it's letterboxed in the preview. But it doesn't ensure letterboxing when playing. I'm wondering if I've hit a bug. The change in letterboxing between magic mouths, which butt up end to end on the sequencer, is something I had never seen before. I might be able to work around it with overlapping mouths, but it all feels 'wrong' at the moment.

ive been having a similar issue... at one point during creation we were like "hey where did the letterboxes go?" we never found an explanation though, sorry.
