Eventful Chaos

Archive: 4 posts

An exciting new mini-game

"Eventful Chaos" is a shooter type level that is very fun and addictive. It is single player only. Basically your this little sound ball and you destroy your enemies with your sound wave but be cautious enemies make there own sound waves too. I will add pictures when i can find my flash drive.

Update: As requested I have made the "Controls Menu" simpler for the players to understand ( It's like a little movie). I have decreased the difficultly by emitting less enemy objects. Thanks for the feedback

The concept is really great and the presentation is also good. Its a bit confusing at first for the player to realize what to do at first but then becomes aparent. Its also pretty difficult. It will be cool if there was a certain wave level length the player could handel. In other words the more the player goes through in the mimi game, the harder it gets but it seemed pretty difficult at the very start. Keep up the work.2011-02-28 06:48:00

My impression is the same as zenspirit25's. I would recommend lowering the difficulty early on when players are getting used to the controls and don't know what to expect. The "controls" option in the title screen was useless to me because the text was much too small to be read, so I'm still not sure there isn't something important I was supposed to know.

I certainly liked it. Played it 5 times. Each successive time my score was lower lol.

Yes, I agree with both of you I thought the it was a little hard also but I wanted to see what people thought about it first. I will try to explain the controls better so people can understand them. Thanks for giving it a play and good feedback 2011-03-01 04:04:00
