The LBP1 Object Importing Ordeal

| What a mess. I myself want to import the content I unlocked in LBP to use in my new creations, yet I'm not allowed to. The situation is the same as everyone else's pretty much, I got a PS3 slim last year and copied my profile over from my old fat PS3. It's really annoying. I have some good ideas for something I'm doing but I need stickers, materials, etc. from the first game to pull it off. I wonder why this is even an issue. MM should've seen this coming, even with all the players who download saves from GameFAQs. I sent them an e-mail about it but I'm not expecting an answer. I may end up having to play through a lot of the old Story Mode again... It really doesn't seem right to force this preventative "trophy hogger" system onto legitimate players. I was able to use my old profile perfectly fine in the first game, as very few good creators really worry about trophies. I'm guessing it has a lot to do with the new pins system, but really, who cares?! I came across the same problem in the beta but at the time chalked it up to either a bug or missing functionality. Now to have it remain in retail is just silly, and takes away a very important creative potential from legitimate non-cheating players. | A lot of people have this problem I lost my LBP1 data when my last PS3 died so I had to play through LBP1 again but since I have two PSN account I have noticed that my copied data from my main account doesn't work on LBP2.
