Some of you may have played the Prologue (http://lbp.me/v/xwjy6m#l) that has been published, and it has been quite popular in the game. I hope to have this game finished by the end of the year.. it will be divided into 4 chapters, plus the prologue and the Epilogue. It will have a very deep and developped storyline, turn-based battles and a RPG World Map. ------------------------------------- Details about the game: The purpose of the game: - The game is, first of all, an hommage to my favourite game series, Final Fantasy. As a matter of fact every chapter will be a reference/allusion to a different FF game. - Final Fantasy games usually take place inutopias, and let the players experience a dream in another world. - The game will also be slightly LBP-themed. Most characters are named/based on LBP friends of mine, and the antigonists are based on LBP spammers. - "Aurora Somnis" in latin essentially means "Dawn of a dream". The game's story itself is focused alot about dreams, and how far one would go in order to embrace his. Story/Setting: - The main themes of the storyline are Freedom, Rebellion, and Revenge. - The setting in wich the game takes place during the evenemments of the beginning of the game is: - The planet in wich the story takes place in is called Terra. - The story takes place around 600 years after sack kind was "created" by the godess Nirvana to live in the planet. However the sack people have started to ignore the rules imposed by the godess and created their own society, and they also started wars between each other. Later on an Empire was created that took posession of the whole planet, and they started to opress the citiciens and such. The godess has decided to destroy the Empire and she started to create very powerful mythic artifacts. She then chose one particular sackperson, Somnis, as the "chosen one", who must obtain the artifact(s) and then use it to destroy the Empire. (that sackperson is the player character) The Gameplay - Contrary to the Prologue, that was, i admit, too much focused on cinematics instead of gameplay, the Chapters in the full series will be full of gameplay, all while telling a complex storyline. - The game will have a RPG World map that will be playable in the top-down view. - All battles will be in turn based fashion. Like in the Prologue, however with much shorter attack animations. - There will be both side scrolling and top down parts.. Towns will be in side scrolling, however most dungeons in top-down. - The player will be able to answer dialogues from other characters, by selecting one of multiple dialogue otions. (such as demonstrated in the Prologue) - There will also be a shop system. hey dude, i played the the prologue on LBP2 didnt realise you did one on LBP1 tbh. but yeah its fantastic so far from what i played, cant wait to see how it ends up when its finished!

- I am unsure weither i should use voice actors or not, but it would be so much better with voice acting.. I tried to ask friends of mine to help me with voice acting, but they either suck very (very) much, or they do it bad on purpose.. so if someone is good at voice acting, help is very welcome (i particulary need female VA's too) Well... I am a good voice man... Even with female voices... I can do Mr. Bean, Barrack Obama, Heroic, Russian, German, Pure English, Little H4Hers, brainless people, zombies, posh, Italian, American...

an intreeging prolouge it was. hearted you as an author to keep up to date with the series. glad your speeding up the animations tho, they were really far too long. p.s. where was the health bar for the allied characters. the bar above their head was something to do with special moves, and I couldnt find their health. @ alexgangsta4: why type the same accent over and over again? ;P I cant do accents, apart from welsh ones, and I sencerly doubt you'd need a welsh one.

Their health bars are the green ones on the bottom left on the screen, where also each character's submenu comes from.. the red ones above their head is just the limit gauge, when it's filled you can perform limit breaks

I remember playing your games a while back and believe it or not you are one of the people that inspired me to make an RPG. I like what i see so far and keep it up, alot of people don't know how tough it is making an rpg.

Thanks Glad i inspired you, i've seen alot of people that were inspired of my stuff in LBP2. My goal is to have the first chapter done by the end of the month.. it may be difficult though, but i usually create quite fast.

Nah there is nothing they can mod right? If the dialogue was offensive, the speech bubbles would be censored, so the censoring words thing is done automaticly.. I try only to use 7+ rated swearings.. (btw sorry for late response)

Chapter I is roughly 80% done.. i probably won't have it done when PSN returns but shortly later.. The title has been changed to Aurora Somnis. Little Big Fantasy was kinda unoriginal anyways. thi, I've played your series on lbp1 and they were fun. I wasnt suprised you would bring the series back to reinvent and stuff but one question, will qualion be a backstabbing jerk in this series,or will this be a rewriting of the original story? also i hope you add the feeling of the old final fantasys where adventure was fun and filled with challenge. also exo ninja is a retard for saying that
