What do you think would be different? The story, the community, the tools? More or less kids online (I'm not using this as an insult, I just want you to know that)?

You mean the same game, but a different rating? I don't think anything would different considering that few parents seem to look at age ratings (and then go on to complain about games being too violent for their kids)

You know, I always thought Victoria's hair looks a little tight...I can totally see her in a leather dominatrix outfit and riding crop. Based on the amount of kids I hear playing Halo and COD when I'm on, I'd wager you might get more kids in LBP, but who knows.

In my opinion there would be more kids playing. Play any Call Of Duty and you'd find literally hundreds of kids. Children are naturally rebellious so being forbidden would make it a lot more attractive to them. What I would say is that to make LBP2 M would require some pretty disturbing things in it. I mean Call Of Duty is based on shooting people and it's M and obviously LBP2 doesn't really contain any violence so I suspect it would contain quite a lot of sex and torture. The tools would probably be a lot more advanced and be geared to people trying to make survival horrors, Shooters and RPGs. Creating weapons would be a big thing and sackboys would look a lot more realistic.

Like if LBP2 was M and parents payed attention to rating it would be magical? A lot of parents do pay attention to ratings but just don't give a crap about them. The ratings is just information on what certain people think about it. I mean you'd have to be pretty dim not to see a box in the corner of the box which say's 18+. Not all kids are annoying and they give money to Media Molecule. Plus it get's them hooked for the rest of there lives and if LBP is a long running series when they do mature they'll still be playing LBP. I think if you have problems with kids just ignore them and not try and get rid of them.

There will be guts screaming and sackboys burning. Kids don't like playing kid games they like feeling like adults so yeah. Plus video games are for kids and almost every game out there is rated M for mature so what else can they play ,and almost every rated E game is boring. So yeah more kids would play it because what else is there to play. Also lbp2 does have a lot of kids in it just go to quick play , and stop ripping on video games that have a lot of kids in it with a M rating because what else can they play?

Yeh I'm pretty sure it would only mean there were more kids. Plus I doubt there would be any really kinky stuff because if it's allowed it's really not as cool anymore. That being said, while browsing through this thread I think I'd quite like it if someone just remade the whole story campaign thingy with everything incredibly inappropriate and suggestive. It would be funny, unless you found it arousing in which case I'm worried.

If the game had a mature rating, I could probably get really pretentious, grand and imposing with the writing and religious imagery in my False Idols stuff. I could build metaphysical fantasy levels around much more personal & vulgar vitriol from my notebooks, rather than just the tamer stuff. Instead of choosing to destroy the planet, I could have a story arc where you have the option to save Jesus as a man, but are at a moral crux because you would inadvertently doom mankind to sin etc etc whatever ridiculous stuff I could come up with, doing it without worry would let it flow. ...I'd probably LMAO at an Adult-Swimified LBP, and risque New Grounds feel. The movies might get triple the funny & professional overnight. I think the audience would just be older versions of the same thing, though, since people only consider 'mature' to be violence & obscenity... and 18-24 yr old dude-bros still have lowest common denominator tastes in games & movies.

With the new video making feature, I bet there would be lots of pronz. Not that there isn't some non-good griefed explicit content out there, but I bet there would be a lot more.
