Need Checkpoint and Spawning Help

This may be easy for some, but my brain has shutdown during the development of what should be simple spawning logic... anyways, i want a check point to turn on when a player comes near (player proximity switch) and turns off by a game controlled switch (logic/timer)... Ok, what you need to do is place the entrance or checkpoint down, then get either a small peice of dark matter or hologram, i would personally use a small 2d layer of dark matter, just so its big enough to place the player sensor down onto it. Then, place the player sensor on the dark matter along with a destroyer. Link the sensor to the entrance/checkpoint and you switch that you want to disable the entrance/checkpoint to the destroyer, then shrink down the dark matter to not visable. Then sensor and destroyer will also shrink, but don't worry. And, that should work mate, hope this helped! | 2011-02-28 14:42:00 Author: Unknown User |
