| This is mostly a solo project, so I'm putting it here and we'll get to my musical needs in a bit. After this I have to pop off to do homework, so I'll make it brief. The trailer is out, and can be queued here: http://lbp.me/v/y7q2wz But for you to busy for LBP right now, a text explanation of the premise: You are, uh... you. The universe is danger: the Superions (sworn enemies of the Galactic Alliance of General Peace and Quiet) have been developing a super weapon, split into four parts, the Superion Cores. If ever they were to meet, the weapon would be activated and it would be doom for the entire universe. You have been tasked with gathering all four Superion cores before the Superions can be retrieve them, and so save the universe. Four worlds are currently planned: Titan III, the location of General Nutso Nice's base, a grass world moving into a techno army base inhabited by evil robot mice and kittens (think of the two campaign levels i got those ideas from). The Cobalt Club, and dance club in space owned by an as of yet unnamed villain, again with a techno theme and a more sleek visual style, as well (maybe) some rhythm sections. An abandoned starship in deep space where the third Superion Core was hidden, home to explosive stewards (or stewardesses) and some unseen villain lurking in the shadows. The Superion home world, a technological paradise where the Superions are preparing (not to spoil it) there super weapon. So this will all be a long time coming, but the first level is out soon, with a planned sh'mup section and two other levels with a boss fight (or two). It's ambitious, but I think I'll learn as I go along. As for collaboration, collaborative building isn't out of the question but this is supposed to be my own thing. Music would be appreciated (especially for the second world) and I am in need of a theme tune (probably) something akin to Anamanaguchi (although that does seem a bit much to ask. Anything anyone would be willing to spare, but I will know more of what I need help with as I go along. At the moment this really is just a pitch, I'm being proactive in the hopes of an early boost in popularity. thanks for reading, any feedback would be appreciated (especially if it involves the words "aweosme" and "have all of my money"). EDIT: I just realised I need voice actors more than music. So if you're a voice actor or can voice actor or are better than me (I can do maybe two voices, and I've been abusing the voice modifier) then your help would be WILDLY APPRECIATED. Well, I tried out your Titan III level, but after countless tries at trying to climb across that ceiling with the fire-breathing plants below it setting fire to it, I just got so frustrated between trying to avoid the fire and trying to maintain a grip on that blasted ceiling (that's made of circular sponges!) that I just gave up.  | 2011-03-03 00:05:00 Author: Shadow Wolf TJC  Posts: 72 |
