I was playing around on my moon the other day and I was looking at some of the stuff I had from LBP1. I didn't really have the secret materials from the first game, but i did have the lava material object. well while messing around with that, I discovered that you can actually draw withi it like a regular material now and you can edit it with the corner editor tool. Did anyone else know this or discover this with other secret materials?

I think some of the new animated materials looks much better as lava. I prefer orange freaky clouds with the brightness turned down.

I do too; lava material honestly doesnt even look like lava, more like glowing rock with a repetitive pattern every square inch... Just use orange freaky clouds, it glows and moves.

Also, if you sticker the flowing chocolate material it can look like a really cool lava/goop.

lava material is awesome now if you put holo over it and light the holo on fire... no need to remove it from your pallet, since any volcanic motif could benefit from it.

Also, if you sticker the flowing chocolate material it can look like a really cool lava/goop. I'll have to try that sometime. I agree lava doesnt't look that interesting but it still somehow. It looks pretty cool in small amounts though.

This was already possible in LBP1, providing the sample was extracted prior to the Cornish Yarg patch, but it was smearable in any version. All the secret materials I gave away in my level were editable, although that's not the case in LBP2 - still need to fix that.

i don't have any of the creepy cloud materials,... where did you get them? The Freaky Clouds are probably somewhere in the Cosmos since they were used as barriers and pink Negativatron stuff towards the end. They can be tweaked and have the color changed and brightness turned down.
