Level Name: Quick Switch PSN: Dr_Vab Hello everyone, I'm proud to announce that I've finally published my level "Quick Switch"! Quick Switch is a platform level with a story line that takes place in space. I've created a very unique concept that I've never really seen before in LBP! The level has a medium difficulty and is between 7-12 minutes long depending on your skill level. I hit the first switch and thought, "Hey, that's a neat trick". I got to the part where you had to dodge and weave to hit the switches in midair and said, "Y'know, this is a pretty awesome platformer". Wow! That was pretty fun! Very clever platforming. The grappling hook sequence in particular was very engaging. If you make a sequel, please add more of that! I loved the asthetics, too, very retro sci-fi! Overall it was very good! One thing that mildly disappointed me, however, was the story. I think you should either cut it out entirely or expound on it more so that we come to care about the characters. Went in and played this a bit ago. Really nice idea! PROS: Great innovative play mechanic Well-thought-out gameplay Pretty and stylish futuristic graphics and use of materials. I especially loved the areas where you have to hit the switches on the fly while being pulled. CONS: In the cut scene right before the first slow down area, you have empty speech bubbles. If it's in a sequencer, maybe turn it to display as caption instead? Having a speech bubble with nothing in it seemed a bit odd. ADDITIONAL THOUGHT: The use of the switches seemed like a great idea for some puzzles, but there were never any puzzles. Maybe for the sequel, think up an area or 2 that aren't quite as linear. The speech bubbles before the cutscene actually do say something, but for some reason they don't seem to show it every time, it's about 50/50.
