Custom Logic Gate: Any ideas to replace the "But" switch?

I am making a new logic gate that can best be described with this example: If you hit anything, except the walls, then something will happen. Please don't say that anyone could make it, because that's not the point. The point is achieving simplicity to the point where you don't have to open the microchip. Instead of taking a microchip from someone else and editing it, I am trying to make it as simple as using an AND gate or an OR gate. It's an "IF" switch. Well, every switch is an if switch. AND switch is IF(a AND B).... You can't have an if without a test Anyways, Shadowheaven's method is the closest you're likely to get, but depending on how pick you want to be it doesn't quite meet the spec. If you hit anything, except the walls, then something will happen Implies that if you hit the floor and the walls, this thing will also happen. If you can get away with the thing not happening when you simultaneously hit wall and floor then you should be fine.
