I played through this just now and wanted to post some feedback.

When you start the level you can jump up the hill on the left and if you are in the back-most layer you can jump over the lip and fall down to the floor. Extending the top edge of the back layer should prevent this from happening.

You use a lot of thin layer facades to cover up the thick layer floors and back walls which is fine but in the beginning area where the three prize bubbles are hidden you can see that there is no wall in the back layer and see the background that the front layer thin layer facade is trying to cover up. The objects in the prize bubbles aren't named which most people never notice so this isn't a bit deal.

I like the building architecture and windows of the castle as you head up to the top and the star room with the star lights behind the glass was a good touch.

The dragon model was nicely done and very similar to a dragon I saw in a certain animated movie before.

I noticed that, at least towards the end, you used plastic checkpoints but I think the wood or stone would be a better fit for the castle theme. If you press square over the checkpoint you can pick what type of material it is made out of.

I noticed that some of the magic mouths with camera zones would close out a bit fast before I was able to read the whole bit.

The level is a good first published level, quite an accomplishment over many, many other first levels I've seen. I can see a lot of the level construction was done freehand by smearing the material. It works but as you get better it will be a better presentation to use the corner editing tool to remove the jagged or wobbling, meandering curves of some of the walkways, walls and ramps.

If you are able can you play my Tutorial Tutorial level and drop me a line of feedback?

A pretty good platformer, with quite a few special effects and a basic storyline. I liked the detail you put into the crumbling tower, the starry transition back to the village and the creepy dead guy that guides you. Trindall hit upon most of the parts that need improvement, but here goes:

* It was a bit easy for my tastes, and the puzzles were pretty basic (but by no means bad)

* It felt like there were a few too many hints, although the puzzles were pretty simple. More subtle hints help keep in the theme, but at least you used a guide that fit the theme.

* The level design needs to be a bit more uniform. There was one or two places where the player needs to randomly jump, even though the path is supposedly straight.

* The speech could've been a little more professionally done. Dialect is fun, creative, and usually fits the story, whereas "OMG A dragon!!11!!eleven!1" is out of place and kills the theme you've worked so hard to immerse the player in.

That's all I can think of right now, but I like the effort you've put into it, and the dragon was well-made (although the flight was short ), the effects were very well done, and the scenery (although a little bare) worked for the most part.

Just played your level, it's pretty good but has a few minor issues. Nothing too game breaking though:

- As mentioned you can fall off the cliff to the left as you start.

- The glass surround the clouds at the start are attached to is a bit naff, what you can do is make it a hologram material so it's invisible and make the strings attached invisible too. This will make the clouds look like they're floating yet still retain the movement properties they have now.

- Your music players are visible in the level, kind of sticks out, make them invisible.

- As others have said the puzzles are pretty easy on their own but the speech bubbles pretty much tell you exactly what to do. I'd remove them entirely, while simple puzzles are perfectly fine, having the player told how to do them before even attempting them kind of defeats their purpose.

- A minor thing, grammar error at the end before the dragon, the knight thanked us 'guys' or something like that for finding him, but I was playing on my own so there's only one of me. A simple fix is to have two different speech bubbles, one that activates when playing alone, and another which does when playing with others.

- Finally, the score bubbles on the bounce pads are impossible to get first time as the bounce pad is too strong. Either reduce its strength or increase the score bubbles' arc.

Like I say nothing major, just some minor improvements that will make your level more professional, good effort.

Here's a link to my level if you could try it out and give feedback please. =)
