How to make DCS use Individual buttons on the D pad

| Hey guys Artise here to show you how to do this simple task of being able to use each button on the D pad to say select a different item. http://i3.lbp.me/img/fl/793e07c37fad623f72dc10da85097fc19b660e53.jpg/bmi_orig_img/793e07c37fad623f72dc10da85097fc19b660e53.jpg First get a DCS and set to disable popit controls then place a microchip on its Circuitboard, this will house your logic. http://ic.lbp.me/img/fl/d6c2ee41c32fe658ace8f22633db09b504a66c0f.jpg/bmi_orig_img/d6c2ee41c32fe658ace8f22633db09b504a66c0f.jpg Next place 2 Directional splitters and a Selecter on the microchip. http://i6.lbp.me/img/fl/9d6bb36b8129ac5db1ba9359083d2478a54d19f3.jpg/bmi_orig_img/9d6bb36b8129ac5db1ba9359083d2478a54d19f3.jpg Now connect the up/down output of the DCS D pad to the left splitter and the left/right output to the right splitter. (it can be the other way round if you want) then connect the + output of the left splitter to input 2 of the selecter and the - in the first input, do the same to inputs 3 and 4 with the right splitters outputs. | started making a level using this and its really cool, you combine the power ups to help you get past obsticles for example, if theres a gap you switch to your creatinator and shoot sticky blobs on the ceiling all the way to the other side and switch to a grapple hook to then swing across. You can also use the sticky blobs as sticky bombs and shoot it with you paintinator to make it blow up walls. If you use two controlinators and set one to control by nearest player/ place on a microchip thats only activated once the controallable one is activated, and wirelessly connect the outputs of the nearest player D-Pad to the inputs of the receiving DCS, you can use the D-pad without disabling the popit controls.  | 2011-04-10 19:44:00 Author: springs86  Posts: 785 |
