Adding Items To Sackboy?
Archive: 10 posts
Alright, here's something I was thinking about earlier, and I don't think has been asked/answered yet. As we know, you can attack items to your sackboy e.g. something you made etc etc, but are you able to attach machines to your sackboy? I'll use a baloon as an example. As we know, you can attach balloons to things and it makes them fly (As seen in a video, a guy made a hot air balloon type machine, and it flew him across the map). So saying that, if I attached a balloon (or a few) directly to my sackboy, theoretically, he could fly all the way to the end (assuming he has some kind of propulsion system (Hopefully they'll include a fan of some sort)). Sorry if it still seems a bit unclear, just lemme now and I'll try explain it better.. What are your thoughts on this? | 2008-08-10 19:23:00 Author: DrunkMiffy Posts: 2758 |
I'd love to make a little portable sackboy jetpack complete with thrusters. That would be cool. | 2008-08-10 19:27:00 Author: ConfusedCartman Posts: 3729 |
Yup, we've also seen machines firing things (Rockets)..If we shrunk one of those..Stuck on Sackboys head, we've essentially got a way to kill other people | 2008-08-10 19:28:00 Author: DrunkMiffy Posts: 2758 |

That's true. But then again, Anything can work no matter what size, as long as all the components are the right size, right? If we made it incredibly small, it wouldn't squish him.. It would fire smaller objects which would be imbued with electricity or explosives and whatnot, but I haven't heard anything saying that there's a size limit to what can have an element added to it.. As long as they were electrified or frozen or whatnot, it'd still kill, I think :/? | 2008-08-10 19:34:00 Author: DrunkMiffy Posts: 2758 |
i was thinking of making tanks that you could fire using a switch and an ommiter and shrinking down them rocket things and having a war room | 2008-08-10 19:34:00 Author: dorien Posts: 2767 |

Hmm, a baloon isn't really machinery, and I don't think they'd make him float because it would just be a cheat I think you can only attach single items to your sackboy, not little gizmos.. who knows? And in any case I dont think you could make a piece of machinery small enough to attach to a sackboy... So in answer to your question; I don't think its possible.. | 2008-08-10 19:52:00 Author: Maltay Posts: 2073 |

True, but maybe once you've built the machine and shrunk it down, you could save it as an item, not a machine if you get me? | 2008-08-10 19:55:00 Author: DrunkMiffy Posts: 2758 |
I don't know if a jetpack would be possible, but I could build a mini personal flying machine. It would be just a bunch of thrusters and some sort of control system on a wood block. | 2008-08-10 20:00:00 Author: ConfusedCartman Posts: 3729 |
